5. I think it’s love

Didn’t enjoy this back in the days. Way too cheesy and not in a good way. Listening back to it I still think it’s bad for my tooth enamel. Not hating on it though so a 5/10.

I just noticed the description of this hahah!

I used to pause/rewind that part of the music video whenever I watched the Gold VHS

You and me both hunni you and me both

9. Never say never again

This is a nice album track. Giving me ‘LGAHOMH’ part 2 vibes. 6.5/10

10. When I said goodbye

I don’t enjoy a lot of the ballads Steps released. This one is no exception for me. Just a bit bland and tacky. And..H’s vocals are quite cringe, especially when he starts to sing ‘Would you have stayed’. Sorry, not sorry! The only positive for me is the video where they all

look stunning and more mature then ever before  Sadly the song is a 4/10 for me.

11. I surrender

A typical Steps album track. Nice but not groundbreaking. The flow is a bit over the place for me, especially with that disco/violin bit near the end. So a 6/10 for this track.

I think this may be better than LGAHOMH …

12. Since you took your love away

It’s really nice to hear Faye on this one! Even H’s vocals are bearable for me. A solid 7/10.

13. My best friends girl

Not my favorite one to say the least..why? H’s vocals, the lyrics and the Tragedy clone vibes. 3/10 for me..

14. You’re everything that matters to me

They did quite some ballads on this album. This ‘being at smoky night club’ mixed with the tearjerker vibe could’ve been easily a disaster. Turns out it’s not and quite enjoyable because they didn’t go overboard imo. And again, it’s nice to hear Faye sing some solo parts. A steady 7/10 for this track.

Overal, I enjoyed the album more then I thought! The singles are great (besides WISG) and the album tracks vary from quite nice (the majority) to mediocre/meh. Also loved the nostalgic vibe it gave me listening to it in ‘21.
