BMG had success on DSPs from launch with KSI, as well as growing Kylie Minogue’s streaming business since her signing.

 

“Kylie has been amazing,” said Reilly-Hammond. “Disco versus Golden, in terms of the streaming, has shown remarkable growth. We’re so happy with the streaming results, it just keeps going and going. The global footprint that's now been carved out - again - for Kylie is phenomenal.

 

“What we're really pleased with is that we're not just seeing growth in streams, we're seeing very meaningful growth in followers as well. The core audience and the engaged audience has grown dramatically for Kylie on Disco. So we're exceptionally happy with that too. We’re seeing lots of growth across all the key metrics for numerous projects. So we figure that we're doing something right there.”

All very positive and confirms what fans have noticed themselves. Might not contend with the streaming of others in the charts but it’s about her personal growth and BMG have done a fantastic job at managing Kylie.

Another sign that it should do ok again this week with a few physical sales.

It’s now down to £16.84, looks like it will be like the Steps picture disc and keep dropping in price.

At this stage they should prob reduce the price and sell through on as many formats as they can. I still think they have achieved alot with Disco especially when the album missed out on a tour.

This - it gone lower now to £16.15 which is an amazing price for a double coloured vinyl.

 

If it goes under £15 I’ll pick up another copy :lol:

£14.95 will attract further sales.

Sales are really low in the album chart this week just over 3700 for number 1 at the moment, i thought Kylie might be in the low end top 100 but not so far.

Not sure if it's been mentioned but ‘Can’t Stop Writing Songs About You’ has today been sent out to radio.

Hopefully it can help sell a couple of albums.
