Easy On Me should give Adele a seventh week at #1 on the singles chart, with a few more Christmas tunes likely to re-emerge as we enter December. There's new tracks from Years & Years/Galantis, Bloc Party, Mura Masa and Young T & Bugsey

Adele's 30 can make it a second week at #1, with Westlife set to debut high with twelfth album Wild Dreams. There's also new albums from Gary Barlow, Deep Purple, Richard Dawson/Circle, Katie Melua and Alan Walker

Breakdown of the week

- Saturday: Some information may be posted on social media but it is likely to be missing most streaming data and is unrepresentative.

- Sunday: Official First Look Chart on Radio 1 from 6-7pm. Please do not post spoilers on the forum in advance as this ruins the countdown for any listeners.

- Monday: OCC Top 100 from 5:45pm

- Tuesday: Top 40 update as and when we receive them with requests, this is NOT 100% guaranteed however. The OCC may publish sales flashes of their own accord but likewise, this is not guaranteed. Twitter and social media is your friend for today. Please post any information you find with a source. Do not nag for updates, we will post a top 40 update if we receive one.

- Wednesday: Top 40 update from Music Week from 5:45, and potential top 5 sales but this is not guaranteed.

- Thursday: See Tuesday.

Other notes (please read)

- You may make requests Tuesday to Thursday but outside the top 40, specific positions will not be revealed (unless deemed necessary by a mod).

- Please do not demand a midweek update, one will be posted as and when we receive the information. Patience is a virtue.

- Sales information will be given out as deemed necessary by a moderator, please bear this in mind when making requests. Most requests for sales will be ignored. Any chart requests between No. 41 to 100 will not be answered after Monday's update.

- To keep everyone in the loop of all chart action, please refer to the iTunes and Spotify threads.

Adele will be number 1 single and albums again

Yeah I think Easy On Me is set for #1 on the singles chart.

Hopefully 30 gets a second week at #1 on the albums chart. I’m not sure what to expect in terms of a drop for Adele in sales.

when are we having a first look on westlife / adele album sales?
What’s Westlife open with last time?

I expect a sharp second week drop for 30 like literally every other album in the current climate but should still comfortably remain at #1. Her wide range of appeal should help keep her physical sales at a decent level for 2021 and Westlife/Gary Barlow etc... won't be coming anywhere near her on streaming for what that's worth.

So they will likely do 45-50k this time so try out the big return/hit single? So Mondays mids will be around 30k which will be similar to Adele maybe? But this weekend was payday so we might see the biggest impact so far in Q4 for casual Xmas gift buys so sales may be slightly higher than normal anyway?

Monday unless we get tidbits before then

Thanks, yes I’m expecting a sizeable drop as that’s what appears to be normal now. Hopefully it’ll clear 50k though, push closer to 70-80k.

How cool would it be if ABBA returned to #1? I know it won't happen, but that won't stop me from dreaming!
Is Easy on Me going to be #1 until the Christmas chart do we think?

Seems pretty likely.

Ed/EJ could go to #1 if they have signed CDs to help

hope Adele doesn't drop too much in albums, she doesn't have the crazy multi-buy fanbase so she should drop more gradually
