Brividi is fine but it really could be better for someone of Mahmood's calibre coming back, Ciao Ciao I think is their best bet but I do really love O forse sei tu!

The favourite hasn't actually won since 2018, but it does feel like Mahmood's to lose.

Poor Tananai at last place.

Achille Lauro at 14 :(

Omg Ciao ciao in 7th place only

IF GIANNI MORANDI wins will be a joke, no thank you. Only San Marino will support Italy this time haha

It must be Elisa or Mahmood now.

Omg don't I was gonna say I could see a Gianni upset but NO ITALY, come on Elisa!
So the fronterunner won but Im not excited about it.
Lol not a good day of winners for me... <_<

meh but it was obviously going to win, the Spotify domination confirmed that.

Could be easily a cross-continental hit but it is a pretty boring duet if polished, 'Soldi' is hardly my favourite Italian entry but I'd take that every time over this.

they've also just confirmed they're going, joy

Not getting the muted response to this here, I think it's absolutely stunning and blows everything else selected so far out of the water in terms of winning potential.
It’s not Soldi, but it’s still a pretty damned good track! Top 5 on global Spotify already is such a good sign not just for the song but for ESC. If winners and key tracks start regularly getting mega global smashes then we can finally start to attract proper good talent in the likes of the UK to be part of our entry list

Glad to have found more fans of it in here now  a beauty <3

I need to catch up on the last couple of nights as it’s been a busy weekend but happy that ‘Brividi’ won, quite convincingly it seems, with Elisa also claiming the runner-up spot, Gianni 3rd was a relief :kink:

Just watched the video/performance (I'd only listened to the songs previously) and it's definitely growing, with the right performance I think it easily will do very well again for Italy!

I think it's worth mentioning that on the day Brividi hit #5 on global Spotify, about 95% of its streams came from Italy (3,384,192 from Italy vs 202,306 from the rest of the world), so it's not quite smashing internationally yet (although it is growing, yesterday it got ~378k international streams which I assume is pretty massive so early on!). But obviously still insane numbers!

Really glad it won, I haven't really checked out the rest of the countries but already looking forward to back-to-back Italian wins :kink:

The Spotify record for Italy, I think I saw. That's really something for a Eurovision entry, I reckon it will be an international hit after the contest no matter how it does and perhaps even well before the contest. Soldi was already huge, and the contest got a huge profile on streaming charts from its last year, this is built to be a commercially successful Eurovision smash.
