December 13, 20214 yr Author World SPOTY Nominees are in and here are the nominations; Saul Alvarez Rachael Blackmore Tom Brady Novak Djokovic Elaine Thompson-Herah Max Verstappen
December 13, 20214 yr I’d be happy if anyone other than Tyson won Adam Peaty should be recognised for how dominant he is in the sport. Tom finally got his gold Sarah further proved her talent Emma made history (although hasn’t followed it up yet!) I haven’t paid enough attention to football
December 13, 20214 yr World SPOTY Nominees are in and here are the nominations; Saul Alvarez Rachael Blackmore Tom Brady Novak Djokovic Elaine Thompson-Herah Max Verstappen Would definitely be up for a Max win. Yes there were some immature moments but he pushed the Red Bull to its limit and then some
December 13, 20214 yr I'd be surprised if this isn't an easy win for Emma, even in an Olympic year, she made history. Would be the first female winner since 2006 too! Tempted to throw a vote to Tyson Fury just because lol x
December 13, 20214 yr Emma has tested positive so I'm not sure if she'll be able to make it to the studio on Sunday.
December 16, 20214 yr Yes I think Emma is pretty likely to win given how her feat completely transcended tennis! Would be nice for Sarah Storey to get some recognition for breaking the record this year.
December 18, 20214 yr One more day to go! Will anyone be watching the show live? I'm not sure whether I will but might catch some of it if I can.
December 18, 20214 yr The most obvious winner of all time, Emma has it in the bag. You must be too young to remember Ian Botham in 1981
December 19, 20214 yr Author I know Emma is red hot favourite but I have a feeling Tom Daley may cause an upset with it being only a very short window of voting
December 19, 20214 yr Author Simone Biles awarded lifetime achievement award . https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/sports-personality/59700067
December 19, 20214 yr Author How come the BBC are not listening to Tyson Fury about him not wanting be nominated for Sports Personality of the Year
