Yep, that's the comparison I made; both progress similarly and finish just as the song peaks. I'm a fan of both songs but I think 'When I'm Gone' is stronger. The video is such a serve! I love each of Katy's looks, love the choreography and agree it's great to see the black hair return; feels like with both that and the lyrics suggest they're aiming for a big pop Katy comeback. Whether that happens or not remains to be seen but I'd love for this to be a hit. I'm actually reminded of 'Work Bitch' by Britney, particularly the blue scenes with the water on the floor.

January 19, 20223 yr TBF, I don't think they're so much "going all out" on this single, I think they're more "going all out" on trying to sell PLAY and garner as much success for the Vegas tour as possible.
January 19, 20223 yr . If it doesn't become a big hit... Then I assume she'll be dropped!! Despite being the 27th most streamed artist in the world without any kind of current hit. She will always be huge money maker from her huge back catalogue. The performance is to advertise her vegas show.
