Language like that shouldn't be allowed to chart at all. Against human decency. :arrr:

Maybe Boris Johnson should show more decency?

I'm just hyped for Boris's F U Right Back moment x

The tories have been saying that to the British people since 1979!

All your free health care, the welfare state, education all being removed bit by bit!

More petty "drama" to drive up sales I presume although as you say it's a foregone conclusion so it's very unnecessary.

Maybe LadBaby is a big fan of Boris and the government despite the contempt they display for the general public.

100%, which is why he is attacking the song, just like common senseless did in this thread.

I didn't think LadBaby being Christmas number 1 could get any worse, but the same song also being Christmas number 2?! It's just depressing.

Decent sales for Ladbaby though, could be on the way to 140k??

Hope album sales are better. I mean at this rate the no5 will be lucky to hit 10k 🥲

Driving Home for Christmas is gonna end up at #11 isn't it?

I hope not. I’d love for that to go top 10

It's such an over-rated song, I don't get what people love about it.

I like it and most people are shocked it hasn’t went top 10 before (in fact most non chart geeks think most classic Xmas songs have been at number one simply because they are so well known. I always have to tell my family at Xmas the Pogues never got to number one) so much so I responded to Richard Osman on Twitter last week when he said how many weeks ‘Driving Home For Christmas’ has been top 75 but never made it.

I told him it might be next week not this Friday!

Really interested to see the chart next week as the Xmas songs will have 2 days of big sales surely?

Yeah the chart on the 31st of December will still be absolutely packed with Christmas songs, the first proper chart of 2022 with all the Christmas songs gone will be the following Friday the 7th of January.

Those album sales look really low. What did the no1 album sell in the Christmas week last year?

^think it was Paul McCartney new at #1 with 33K helped by the 39 variants of his vinyl :D

the Kunts have increased a lot in the last 24 hours on iTunes, might hold on

guess they saw the Mids and are pushing on social media

Why is the Ladbaby track not considered a remix of the original Ed & Elton song?

Because LadBaby has the lead credit here, it's basically the same as the Acraze track not being combined with the original Cherish song.
