I could imagine Little Mix - Secret Love Song, Little Mix - Reggaetón Lento (Remix) and Destiny's Child - Say My Name all being in contention and moving ahead of Spice Girls - 2 Become 1, Atomic Kitten - Whole Again and B*Witched - C'est La Vie, which were all Top 10 in 2019. ~ The peak positions of the singles in the list: #1 - 31 (There's 31 Platinum or Multi-Platinum songs which peaked at #1 in the UK) #2 - 8 #3 - 10 #4 - 5 #5 - 6 #6 - 5 #9 - 3 #10 - 2 #11 - 4 #13 - 1 #15 - 1 #18 - 2 #20 - 1 #26 - 1 Fifth Harmony have the lowest peaking single to certify Platinum - #26 for That's My Girl, which as you can see is the only Platinum single to not make the Top 20. I am surprised “Cruel Summer” and “Venus” have yet to go gold, both have well over 150m streams on Spotify and I’m guessing that the UK is where their biggest audience is.
