I know it’s for charity but I do feel it’s also to do with ego as well. Ed surely could’ve donated money himself to a food bank if he wanted to help that much, even LadBaby and his wife I presume are millionaires given their platform as well but he obviously wanted that Christmas #1 and assumed he was gonna get it with the Elton duet and knew LadBaby was a threats so he reached out to get another Christmas #1 for himself, have LadBaby break the Christmas #1 record of having the most consecutively and get himself

his fourth #1 in a year it’s just all so false like its raising money for charity but I suspect the main aspect of this was the self promotion aspect of it for all involved.

 

Hopefully we get a decent Christmas #1 again sometime in the future though. Also as many have mentioned Sausage Rolls and Christmas what is the correlation was the Sausage Roll an inside joke from the YouTube channel he has? Lord knows what it has to do with Christmas but even if they changed it to something like Mince pies or Mulled wine I doubt the overall result would’ve been any better.

As much as the song isn't great, it's fantastic that so much money is being raised for charity as a byproduct of his #1 attempt (as much as people can say 'they could just donate £1 to charity without downloading the song', the truth is people wouldn't because there's no 'reason' to do so)

It's pretty much the same in every Western country. Everybody who doesn't support that particular kind of politics gets media treatment like Trump and Corbyn did. It's completely unfair and over the top and it's very, very, very difficult for anybody to overcome because many of the public believe the lies. Neither of them are racist but so many people genuinely think they are. Keir Starmer is basically the same as Boris, there's no point in supporting him in my view.
