Now that Disco is well settled into our Kylie collection which album do you prefer, also has your opinion changed for example when we done this poll before did you vote differently to how you have now. Also from the albums which album do you think gave us the better/stronger singles overall and lastly which album has the best artwork overall.

Disco definitely wins for the music! I really think it’s her best album since Fever and top 3 in her discography a real highlight for me.

 

But, I think Golden may edge it for the artwork!

Disco for the music but Golden for the artwork…some stunning images.

Its Disco, Disco, Golden for me, Golden is great but overall i prefer the music on Disco.

 

With the singles, i would have a slight preference for Disco but some golden singles are just brilliant, dancing and music's too sad with you i love, on disco i love say something and real groove but would prefer magic to stop me from falling, a lifetime to repair etc. With artwork Golden wins hands down it was a top-class time from Kylie in the artwork department. Disco is a bit of a letdown in that department, i do like the original disco cover but don't like the guest list edition cover or any of the single covers.

Disco is the better album with some better singles but the artwork lacks inspiration.

The albums are about equal for me now, although perhaps Disco slightly ahead.

 

Disco's singles win it, although Golden did have 'Dancing'.

 

Golden's artwork wins by far, I've grown to just about accept the original album cover of Disco now and the Guest List Edition artwork is not great at all. If they'd used the 'Real Groove's cover for the album, that would've been AMAZING and Disco would easily win.

 

(also, every other single cover from Disco except 'Real Groove' was low effort crap)

I prefer disco but golden was still good. The artwork for golden was better though!

Totally agree about real groove artwork, i think that would have made a brill album cover, and for me its one of her best covers in years.

The original image from the 'Magic' single cover was pretty stunning, but instead they put it through some stupid Paint Shop Pro filter and it ended up looking like it did.

The say something cover was awful, one of my least fave kylie covers ever which is annoying as i love the actual song.

Golden served a wide range of strong material backed with an excellent promotional campaign.

Disco, due to the pandemic, lost out on some of the promotional opportunities of Golden but it had that little more sparkle musically.

Disco for all three, however Golden has a good artwork, but not super keen on that album otherwise. The only song I still revisit is Dancing.

Disco all three for me, it has been one of the best Kylie era's ever for me. Golden was a nice era but doesn't come close (I accidentally voted for Golden in all three, we I wanted to go for Disco).

I would have loved to see how things went with Disco in a non covid time, i agree with others its one of her best albums so i would have loved to have seen it toured and also more tv promo for the singles, kylie did well promo wise with the limited opportunities and infinite disco was a good concept that worked, she did what she did with the circumstances but had there been no covid i think more would have came our way. I also liked how well the re release did, it done better overall than we expected despite the new songs not been anywhere near her best but i think the label really worked hard in pushing the album overall.

BMG i have to say have been good at long term planning for the albums, golden and disco both had long term plans to keep sales coming in and i suppose with both albums pretty much selling in similar numbers it shows their plans worked for both albums.

 

Golden hands down for me - I loved everything about that era and still think it’s way up there as one of Kylie’s best albums.

Golden on all levels for me. Still up there being one of my favourite albums but Disco is very close.

Golden def falls into some of Kylies best albums, and i think the campaign was handled well, i also love how well musics too sad without you sold as a fifth single, still think it should have been released sooner but it done well as it is. I think bmg really understand both kylie and her what her fans want and the partnership so far is working very well.

Disco clearly preferred as the better album now and i really think it has established itself as a real fan fave album now for Kylie and probably ranks fairly high with most Kylie fans in her list of albums. I was expecting Golden to be a complete runaway winner in the artwork vote so im surprised by how well Disco did there.
