Whoops sorry (I saw it in your chart when I searched it on Buzzjack so I wondered if you were planning to send it) but it was so captivating and beautiful in its build that I had to take the chance. I'm aware the artist is pretty cheap considering their past success, but the song is so different from anything I've heard from them before.

 

This looks like a super competitive contest already with some huge names, I know the Let's Eat Grandma song already, not quite as good as the others from this era, but very enjoyable all the same.

Don't worry! I was a bit worried that the song would get vetoed since Highasakite had huge success in BJSC and I had other potentials on standby too which are also amazing (I will see how the potentials pan out or if there is a new contender in the next few weeks) <3 I agree Autopsy is pretty unique and surely is not a cheap song. Wish you all the best this edition ;)

Ah bugger, I never thought about checking for Schwarz Stein on Spotify, although it’s not on iTunes so I guess it’s not a surprise :/

We do actually have the rare instance of a song in this contest only being available on Spotify (so it'll unfortunately have to be skipped for the SyncTube session(s) unless someone cares to try and upload it to YouTube somehow x) as the Doss song is one of those 'Spotify Singles' exclusives. Which is, by the way, the only reason I somewhat reluctantly did not push for that to be vetoed as I imagine it's a song people might have missed even if they are invested in Doss. But still tut tut to Rob for recycling such a recent winner. x (There are quite a few artist choices this month that feel extremely uninspired even if the songs themselves aren't explicitly veto worthy, I will see if I end up regretting not trying to veto more of them if this contest ends up with history's most predictable top 10 ever lol)

I wondered if you'd know him. Been going through a lot of his work in particular lately, I guess it's somewhat surprising I haven't settled on him before with how hype all his stuff is.

 

Absolutely wonderful presentation, very beautiful stats about all the countries, and the outlines, and finding a picture of all the artists is a really nice touch. Looks like there's plenty of good songs up for discovery.

BEAUTIFUL graphics! also I haven't heard the song but im experiencing a surge of mid-atlantic pride from seeing the title "Wawa by the ocean" (the associated logo should've been a goose)

 

I imagine most people here don't know what a Wawa is but basically it's a combination gas station/eatery/etc/etc popular in the mid-atlantic states famous for hoagies and/or subs and/or gyros and/or whatever else they're called elsewhere

That is odd - I have not heard this from anyone else...

 

Maybe updating Spotify could help?
