The only one I’m really puzzled by is Silk Sonic

I prefer the Buzzjack results! Yes also find the Silk Sonic result baffling.

Absolutely chuffed for Wolf Alice winning Group of the Year. Thought the Brits generally stuck to the big names these days

Got one quarter of my hopes, even if Little Simz isn't exactly a new artist :P although some of the winners were second in line for me at least, e.g. Sam Fender

Best International Group - Silk Sonic (just me who thinks this one's a no brainer?)

Looks like it was just me then lol

 

(I can't see how that's a baffling choice though? SS managed a lot of commercial success + critical acclaim last year)

 

I didn't think Silk Sonic were a surprising winner at all, awards shows always love Bruno Mars.

 

I also got 4/12 of my faves winning (Wolf Alice, Little Simz, Billie Eilish and Dave in the categories they respectively won), the latter two were the only ones I was confident about really but did think Simz had a decent shot at best new artist (despite not being new at all lol) based on her having so many nominations and a performance slot, Wolf Alice however was definitely a really pleasant surprise! And I am very happy with Silk Sonic winning too, they would be a close-ish second choice for me behind Måneskin. A couple of other awards where the winner was my 2nd favourite as well. The only winner I'm really meh on is Becky Hill, it's a fine list otherwise (I say having not heard Adele's album x).
