Official figures for the Neighbours finale are in, including catch up and those who watched on other devices, and the show was watched by 4.02m. It’s the highest rated programme for Channel 5 of the year.

 

To put that into perspective, that's similar to what Love Island rated in the week and wasn't far off the ratings of Emmerdale.

They are excellent ratings and what a way to bow out.

And…. Neighbours is coming back!

99% of me thought it wouldn't return and if it did it would be a few years away, i had read all the sets were stored in a warehouse so at least there will be some continuity. I wonder how Scott and Charlene will be mentioned in the return, thats if they are even mentioned, it will probably a case they bought the house and decided to rent it out as a financial investment as its highly likely we wont see Kylie and Jason reprise the roles even for 1 episode.

With Guy Pearse rumoured to be making one or 2 appearances in the Neighbours reboot I wonder could Kylie and Jason be also tempted.

If this is true, then I'm not surprised.

 

I said before that I thought Kylie (and many of the others) might be a bit narked by the return of Neighbours when they had only gone back because it was "the end"... and I wouldn't blame them either.

Somehow I think it's not true, I think everyone thought neighbours was truly done that time and I'd say kylie been the type she is would gave happy to see tge show getting revived.
