26. Avicii - Levels 273pts

Writers - Tim Bergling, Arash Pournouri, Leroy Kirkland, Etta James

Top points - Jason 25, Daan 25, Cow Cow 24

Containing a sample from the 1962 song 'Something's Got A Hold On Me' by Etta James, this was the second of two number 4 singles for Avicii in 2011. It finishes 12 points behind the lowest scoring song to qualify for the final.

Not fussed about Watermelon Sugar or Levels but the run of 10 or so before that was brutal! Having said that I think 14 of my votes are still in which is more than I feared. Really surprised at Halo not making it - a genuine classic of the last 15 years by a solo female is usually a Buzzjack shoo in!

The second semi-final will start tomorrow.

Plenty good stuff still standing in the final 25, but also plenty I'd exchange in a heartbeat for some of the songs that landed between 35 and 26

That was a disaster of a result for me. Voted for about 10 of what’s left!

Makes the final much easier though I guess.

IWICBCE got through , how? lol
Shame to see 'Work', 'Levels' and 'Watermelon Sugar' dropping out although that list of 25 does still look pretty good!

Halo is the only real loss

I love 23/25 tracks in the top 25, only a couple meh tracks including that xmas song
