February 6, 20232 yr No11 is better than I was expecting to be honest given zero promotion. It’s a good album and shame it won’t get recognised when you have the likes of Taylor Swift releasing stuff which isn’t half as good in my view and full of explicit lyrics. This is such a weird take. I’m not sure how Taylor’s success impacts Ava’s in any way. There’s room for more than one pop girlie. Maxipads just needed to stream and buy more copies. Edited February 6, 20232 yr by Rob
February 6, 20232 yr It would be nice if the album could get a 2nd week in the top 100 this week, debuts at 33 here in Ireland. Edited February 6, 20232 yr by Feel_The_Fever

Maxipads just needed to stream and buy more copies. I think you have misunderstood what I was saying. I was trying to say that Ava’s album is miles better than Taylor Swift but sadly won’t get the recognition it deserves. It’s also without any vile explicit lyrics which seems to have become common place these days but doesn’t add anything and is totally unnecessary.
February 6, 20232 yr Taylor's use of swear words is very mild compared to most other popular artists no? Lol ~
February 6, 20232 yr From an artist that dropped multiple albums without them, she has shown she doesn’t need to swear on her records for them to be good and successful. Tbf I’ve discussed it in her Artist thread tho so I don’t know why I’m retreading old ground.
February 6, 20232 yr Taylor's use of swear words is very mild compared to most other popular artists no? Lol ~ I don’t know about that but it’s hardly a justification for supporting it. As others have said, she doesn’t need to do it and has released successful albums before. Edited February 6, 20232 yr by neill2407
February 6, 20232 yr Oh that’s better than I expected tbh. Hopefully means we’re in for another week top 100!

Has anyone ever said that it is necessary to swear to be successful? (that's not what my post was saying if that's how you read it, I just thought Taylor was a weird artist to pick on to make this point)
February 6, 20232 yr NGL i was expecting a 1 weeker so glad its sticking around and decently high for week 2 all thing considered!
February 6, 20232 yr Very delayed, butI've been listening non-stop. Here's my album ranking! 1. Dancing's Done 2. Sleepwalker 3. Maybe You're The Problem 4. Million Dollar Baby 5. One Of Us 6. Cold As Ice 7. Hold Up (Wait A Minute) 8. Weapons 9. Turn Off The Lights 10. Last Night On Earth 11. Diamonds & Dancefloors 12. Get Outta My Heart 13. In The Dark 14. Ghost I love every one though! They are all 9/10 or higher!
February 6, 20232 yr I'm still stuck on this album tbh. I love it so much! The only one I don't really care for rn is 'Hold Up (Just Wait A Minute)'. But even then it's OK, I just prefer everything else on the album. Same. Though that performance of it made it grow on me more, I'm still obsessed with the whole thing ngl. I'd do anything to feel those fake gems scratching my back whilst rolling around serving face to a major bop like this. hxq3B_Fk4uk Edited February 6, 20232 yr by JulianNial
February 10, 20232 yr She's Radio 2's Album of the Week. The poor people in the retirement homes will have a heart attack jamming to this.
