Welcome Buzzjack to the greatest Kylie album track!

Over the next few weeks, we will be finding Kylie Minogue's greatest album track, as voted for by you. But first the qualifier rounds. From each album THREE album tracks will be put forward to the eventual rate. But which 3, that is entirely up to you? Simply rank the tracks from best to worst, with Kylie's 10th studio album X, there's a whopping 16 tracks, you can either pick your top 10 with the ranking of +10 for the top track or you can rank all 16 tracks with +16 to the top ranking track & +1 for the bottom track, the choice is entirely up to you?

Just rank these below from best to worst?

Like A Drug
Speakerphone
Sensitized
Heart Beat Rock
No More Rain
Stars
Nu-Di-Ty
Cosmic
Rippin' Up The Disco
Magnetic Electric
White Diamond
King or Queen
I Don't Know What It Is
Carried Away
Cherry Bomb
Do It Again

Remember just rank the tracks above from best to worst & the 3 with the highest scores will go through to the final rate.

They really messed up with X, wrong single choices and also the wrong songs left off the album in favour of much weaker ones, definitely an album that could have done so so much better if handled better.

Seriously, the stuff that didn't make the album is largely better than the stuff that did!

They really messed up with X, wrong single choices and also the wrong songs left off the album in favour of much weaker ones, definitely an album that could have done so so much better if handled better.

If handled right, X could've gone 2.5 platinum in album sales!

This album goes between some absolute gems and some ridiculous clunkers.

Why 2 Hearts was chosen as the lead single I'll never know

And I'm listening today to some of the non-album tracks that I've never heard before and they are considerably better than some of the ones that made the album.

I agree all of this would have worked so so much better, if it had gone that way X wouldd have done far better with sales,, while it's still a successful album I think it could have gone double platinum easily if they had made better choices. Sometimes though I think kylie herself picked songs that meant more to her after her cancer battle so that might have had something to do with it although I'm not sure how much say kylie had in picking the tracks that made the album and the ones that didnt. X had great potential for a re release adding the songs and I still think it's something fans would love to get, I know I would.

This is basically perfect  Both the tracklist and the singles, so much more cohesive and using the best stuff. That would be one of my absolute favourite Kylie albums with this tracklist.

I don't particularly care about the US though as she wouldn't have done anything regardless.

Ya if they got the track listing right X would rank far higher for me, it could have been an absolutely brilliant album instead of half of a great album.

So many bad choices made with the tracklisting on X.

Maybe songs were selected on writing credits over song quality.

  • 2 weeks later...

The X era was glorious, loads of tracks and cool CD singles. Created a Kylie rarities Spotify playlist recently, great to listen to.

Biggest mistake of the era was using 2 Hearts to launch the album. It should have been a pre release then Wow or IMA to launch.

Alot came from the X era and so much came from the vaults that ended up better than half the album itself which was really great to get at the time, 2 hearts, i think most fans agree it was a big mistake as lead single, it could have been used as a buzz type single but i still think it should have been an album track only as if it would have made a strong album track opposed to a weak lead single that didn't represent the album at all.
