No I think it's gonna be more forced down people's throats, not all songs on HH get the same treatment, many don't progress further than track #40 on that list

Not true at all, look for instance I love Adele but Oh My God has been pushed down people's throats like crazy, been on HH since day 1

and for the last 2 months it's been on the HH top 5, most of the time at #1

and despite all that the song has underperformed in the last couple months and barely been top 50

clearly showing that people don't connect with the song and it's just heavy playlisting that keeps it there

what Im trying to say is that some songs people don't care but they do well cos of the extra heavy playlist support, which not all songs get

when you see songs like Becky Hill-My Heart Goes or the Anne Marie/Little Mix song that get crazy support, being #1 on HH for ages

but then they barely scare the top 10 or not even so,

BMW is down to #42 on Apple Music. It’s Spotify success is just so weird how did it do like fine it’s debut, album release week but then shoot up over the space of a couple of days with No notably vitality on TikTok or climbs elsewhere, even great play listing rarely has that much impact

Thank goodness for Dave, I'd have been livid if BMW had denied Heat Waves a final chance at the #1 spot, by less than 1k streams as well. Bruno down to #6 anyway, while Dave is on 668k streams today!

A massive increase for 'Starlight' today - looks like it may be hanging around at #1 for a while rather than just being a one week wonder.

Aside: I went to look at the rest of today's chart to find that I've been logged out of Spotify and cannot log back in, won't let me reset my password either. I searched on Twitter and see a lot of people are having this problem so I guess it's an issue with Spotify itself. Lower numbers coming tomorrow then if this isn't fixed soon. x
