That one is always a good return so I look forward to it.

No at bringing back any characters we saw die on screen outside of dreams/hallucinations. Bad decisions they may be but once it’s done it’s done. The recent rumour is of someone that it is feasible to write back in and that has never been my qualm. I hope they take care of it though.

As for Mel, I’m pretty sure Tamzin Outhwaite was going to go to earlier and was convinced to hang around? Either way, Mel is done. Her story is over and they clearly didn’t know what to do with her for her first 12 months back and she was clearly brought back for the headlines. I love her but there was very little story left to tell.

Not if they bring back Lisa and Janine! Have Mel, Lisa, Janine, and Hunter of course, all together. The problem eas they brought her back and she had no one outside of Hunter to go to in the Square. She really took on a huge part once she was integrated via Ugly Jack. Oh, ans Sam! They can all be integrated together. Kat is back atm too. Bring in Zoe snd the Slater sisters too and there you go.

They need to start killing off male characters and not frmsle.

Remember that period when they kept killing off the kids of Mel, Ian, etc?! Those are your LEGACY. You can bring thrm back years later! As is, once evil Max is gone, his children are, too. No future storylines for his family, oe for Mel and Steeve's. Weeell DONE, EE! Not short-sighted at all to protect Max, because your producers fancy him, and Jane, over Steven and Abby... And choosing Sharon and bloody Linda again over Hunter... Tsk tsk.

Just watched today's ep and its going to be a difficult few days, it was very emotionally charged. It's been said time and time again in this thread but this is some of the best acting from the whole cast in Lola's story

Yeah today's ep was really good; especially the scenes between Honey and Phil. The next couple of episodes are going to be a hard watch.

Nish is an absolute ***t though - Vinny too. It was good that there was no Ben in this episode, but unfortunately has Nish instead.

Really strong, hard-hitting episodes this week so far. Jay and Billy's scenes with Lola moved me a lot today.

Thank goodness Honey has moved away from feeling like a caricature to instead really nailing this more emotional material. Phil also stands out as a character who has been more enjoyable to watch very recently, more human. A surprising but welcome double act for me at the moment. Not complaining about the lack of Ben though :kink:

Just seen tonight's episode on iPlayer, be prepared... get your hankies out, the ending was just perfect.

Just watch episode, one of the best soap episodes ever, and eastenders will sweep the awards with this storyline. Absolutely stunning and the fox at the sun at the end simply amazing

The most emotional episode since Dot's funeral that was, it was very well done by EE.
God I hope they win something at the Soap Awards next week. Tonight's episode was beautiful. The ending with

the fox and the sunlight...

wow.

Beautiful episode, I can’t believe that’s it for Lola, they’re approaching her first episodes now on the EastEnders 2011 reruns.

Now I’m preparing myself for being pissed off when it becomes all about Ben in the coming weeks.

The Lola storyline has been fantastic this week. It's one of the most realistic portrayals of death I've seen on the show, from the performances to the smaller details like the make-up used on Lola and Jay not being bothered about shaving. I've really enjoyed the community aspect, something that Chris Clenshaw has been really strong at portraying during his time on the show and something that really heightened the emotional impact of the story. EastEnders deserve to win big at the British Soap Awards.

Enjoyed George's arrival in tonight's episode, jury is still out on Anna and Gina. I'm convinced

Cindy

is the mother of the Knight girls.

Lots of reference to the mum in tonight's episode, the girls interacting with Bobby, the jewelry box..., one of the spoilers says the mum walked out 9 years ago (9 years since Lucy died), "Gina" is the same name as Cindy's sister. Nothing exactly concrete but I feel like there's a reason why the news of Cindy's return broke recently and I've not been able to get the theory out my head since I saw someone mention it on another site).

Yeah I'm 100% on this theory now. I reckon Anna's box thing will be opened in the next couple of weeks to show

a picture of Cindy as their mum

. Then cut to

Cindy and Ian together

. Then a full on return later in the year.

How do we know it's this Cindy, and not the other Cindy that they were tryinf to mske into the new Janine, coming back with Ian??

After seeing tonight’s episode, that rumour being true wouldn’t surprise me.

Though it is giving me ‘Kathy was married to Sharon’s real dad all these years’ teas and we know how that ended up.
