That was gripping right until the end,

well I knew Keanu has left Eastenders he was on The One Show quite recent. Poor Bernie on her own now, she should have left with Karen & Mitch, as I don't know where she fits in now.

Not forgetting Deano probably heard everything what was going on downstairs surely.

Good point actually, I’d put money on the fact Dean didn’t leave the Vic when we think he did and witnessed the whole thing.

I'm on my phone so spoiler tagging is difficult but people wouldn't actively be reading this thread if they wanted to avoid spoilers right?

but omg such a good episode!! As soon as it seemed like Nish was the body I was like nah absolutely not, they wouldn't kill off a character with so much potential so I was waiting on him 'coming back to life'. I was sure it was either Keanu or Dean but I definitely didn't expect it to be Linda as the killer, I'm really excited to see Kellie doing this storyline. The clear hesitation she had while contemplating stabbing him was great, so well acted, buzzing to see what happens next! The other women will cover for her no doubt but then there's the question of Dean lurking about, did he see it? I'm assuming he'll be upstairs looking over the railing or something. He'd absolutely turn Linda in, maybe he gets framed for the murder or Nish will since they're both two men that deserve prison time but have escaped it. I want to go back and rewatch it purely for Stacey's facial expressions

Poor brave Bernie though, idk why she doesn't just go stay with Felix and Chelsea?

Also Bernie yelling "you can't keep lying, it will kill you!" at Keanu was such a telling moment, the whole church part of the episode was brilliant, the way everyone just kept coming in and adding to the drama

All other soaps just look so miniscule in comparison to EastEnders right now

Absolutely gripping from start to finish. The entire week has been some of the best episodes of soap I've honestly ever seen.

Keanu is not dead!

No surprise that it was Nish who was on the floor in the Vic, like I said before all the signs pointed towards it. Only thing now is that he survived after all.

Also how can they automatically know Keanu is dead without checking his pulse? that further supports the above information in the spoiler tag. In the end after 10 months of speculation no one gets body bagged.

I guess there’s a chance you’re correct but I don’t think so. Those ‘leaked’ pictures had him talking to Lauren who not only hasn’t returned yet but I don’t think ever interacted with Keanu in any meaningful way. It’s likely the pics were taken to throw people of the scent like the ones of pregnant Abi Branning appearing at her own funeral.

Yea did they not say they filmed with all of the potential victims so not to give it away, also I think if you're spitting out blood that's a sign you're gonna be dead

Really enjoyed the episode!

I am so glad Nish did not die, he has so much potential and is a great character.

I also agree that Dean could have been watching this or heard it go down?

Poor Bernie! I hope they can do something with her character.

Going to miss the eye candy but it was his time to go. I really thought it’d be two deaths when Keanu came in, I didn’t expect Nish to live after that.

Excellent episode from start to finish and of course left the door open for some great storylines in 2024. My only worry is now that we know Linda is the killer I hope it doesn't mean she is leaving as I don't want that, I want more drunk Linda.

It was a great exit for Keanu and fitting aswell although I wonder how they will do his funeral, plus phil wont be getting his 50 grand now. I wonder would they have got scenes recorded before lorraine left the show.

I’ve just remembered too that Linda was the first character Clenshaw mentioned in relation to this story. Almost a year ago everyone was asking what will Linda do now and he said she was going to be part of a new never before done storyline. The answer was hiding in plain sight.

Looking back the clues were there but it was all done so well.

Ravi is sure to come after Denise now that she was the one to hit him over the head so that will keep their family rivalries very much alive.

I'm looking forward to tonight to see how the women will come together to protect Linda and also see who the mystery lurker is that is sure to hold the key to how it will all unravel.

All of the Six have been great, but Diane Parish in particular I really don’t feel gets brought up in the conversation enough as a contender for the best actor in EE to be honest. Her and Kellie were absolutely outstanding in this Boxing Day episode.
Although it was a bit of a farce, and has me actually laughing out loud when I randomly remembered the Queen Vic scenes today, it was an exvellent Christmas special! It was funny, wild, and didn't let up. That's how you do a Christmas episode!! Not sure how they'll top it again! Take notes, RTD and Doc Who!!

Linda being the killer was a real dream of mine I’d manifested it and hoped it would be her the most of all the 6.

Amazing choice for the killer but Keanu being the real body was a shock I’d sort of ruled him out with Karen leaving already and I’d imagined him getting arrested so him being the body was a shock but what a way to go (and maybe him appearing again as a shock last Christmas may have been a hint it was a year contract and he was convinced back for this story).

Brilliant twist with the flashforward body actually being alive as well. I’d knew Jack was just a red herring to all this and it was never going to be Phil! but Nish / Dean were the two names I’d have said it’s either/or for the body.

Yeah, that is a really good twist, especially as we all figured it would be Nice, especially with Suki sitting down and 9ur Kath looking over at her.

What did Keanu do exactly to be a potential victim? I wasn't watching at the time.

Also lOL at Keanu attackin one of thr women, havinf his back ti the rest, after he'd just seen that same scenario play out, with another one whacking him from behind and doing him in!!!!  I loved ir! It was like a comedy!!

Loved this episode, very enjoyable watching the aftermath!

I kind of hope this turns into Pretty Little Liars and someone starts sending them anonymous messages saying they know what they did…

That occured to me as well! I remember them saying this would be a huge year for Linda storyline wise but we hadn't really seen much from her that we hadn't seen before so it makes sense that this is what they were referring to.

Suki being the mastermind behind their alibi is a great detail, the character development of her over the last year has been outstanding but it's great that we're still reminded of who she is when she needs to be.

It's giving desperate housewives of Walford and I'm absolutely here for it  Kathy is annoying me a bit though like she's gonna need to get her shit together and give a bit more to the storyline bc at the moment she's just been faffing about low-key turning on everyone else but I guess her suggesting the cafe as a place to put the body is her involvement, I feel like there's maybe stronger characters that could have taken her place in the group though as it still feels a bit random - Eve or Cindy for example but I guess they've both had big storylines already. Sharon's kinda giving the same vibe as Kathy at the moment as well but you kinda need to have her at the centre when Keanu is the victim so I won't argue that one. Diane Parish is a fab actress, I absolutely love the way her and Lacey's characters bounce off each other, even if Denise isn't my favourite character, she does just seem to go around shouting at folk these days :') Stacey can do no wrong though, they better protect her at all costs. Her and Suki are my absolute favourites so I'm buzzing to see more of them together.

Another great ep. I liked how they weren’t initially keen on working together, seemed more natural that way. No Dean appearance but I’d bet he’s somehow witnessed some of this.
