I just can't see how either of the UK girls would beat either of the US girls in a lipsync for the crown. Honestly between Baga/Blu or Mo/Juju it would depend on the song but I just can't see how Baga or Blu would beat the other two unless it was a very specific song that fit them perfectly tbh.

Either of the UK girls would be among my least favourite winners, not a fan of Baga at all and nothing against Blu I just think she has 0 winner energy, people are doing way too much with her imo - winning is about more than track record! Plus it's not like she DeLa'd the season or anything.

Team Blu

Jujubee winning would be a joke - you can’t be bottom 2/safe pretty much throughout and then win!

I’m not against a win for Mo or Baga, but for me Blu has been the more consistent

I kinda have my fingers crossed that Blu has kept some tricks in the bag just in case!

I don't see it happening but can you just imagine if Blu had a Sasha Velour moment! Or even Baga but lets not even think about that.

What I could see happening however just from past form is Mo Heart forgetting the words and being eliminated by default.

Just so you guys know, the winner leaked so be careful on social media etc just in case!!
Boring boring boring episode and such an underwhelming winner when you have a cast this stacked- she did slay the final lipsync though

On paper Juju and Mo should’ve slayed this series but they’ve been also runs throughout.

Blu is the only deserving winner of those remaining. Pangina and Jimbo obviously were cut too short, janey too really. But let’s be honest it’s Blu or no one for the crown

I mean... I guess she did the best this series out of the finalists but she still didn't really do THAT spectacularly at anything. Solid 3rd a couple of times, her Snatch Game wasn't THAT great, her Rumix was solid, her Ball was imo disappointing and for me most of her runways have been soft toots at best. It's not her fault the series has left me so deflated, congrats for winning, but meh. It feels like Trixie winning AS3 because Shangela got robbed by the twist and DeLa quit, except Trixie is one of those who's an absolute star and represents so much more of where drag can go and what it can reach so that meant more than her track record.

Blu is fine at Drag Race but winning is about more than track record (and it's not like she DeLa'd the season), put her next to all the other All Stars winners and I just don't see that spark/star quality at ALL. Like this is meant to be the best of the best from all over the world and Blu Hydrangea wins?! It feels like there is no point in challenges and a competition if we're gonna get a "eh I guess she did the best of who's left" winner because the frontrunners get cutthroat eliminated.

If they want Drag Big Brother, chuck them all in a house together and do a series of The Challenge or something as a spin-off.

Imagine if we got a final of Lemon, Janey, Pangina and Mo/Juju with the latter two having a better run?

Blu did the best lip syncs tonight. I don’t know what happened with Mo? She just wasn’t on form tonight!

I do think arguably Blu has had the best run out of the final 4. Pangina should have won but the game was well and truly played.

I get what you’re saying. But juju and the other finalists weren’t actually that good and I don’t see how any of the final 4 would make a better winner or stack up any better against the other winners. Juju pre series for sure, but no to this series. Mo maybe on the past series, but she hasn’t tried either

Did Blu deserve to win out of everyone - Probably not - out of the final 4 for sure. But the series was f***ed up from week 3 onwards anyway

But Juju and Mo as queens, personalities and what they are capable of, yes they are leagues ahead of Blu and would stand for so much more as winners. Since this season was such a mess, "she had an ok track record" is hardly reason to win. Maybe I am just looking into it too much but for the hype the season had, the cast being as stacked as it was on paper, I'm just so deflated. At least if Juju or Mo had won, I'd think you know what good for a Drag Race legend getting crowned when they arguably deserved one already (especially Mo, not so much Juju lmao as much as I adore her).

I also don't think Mo did that much worse than Blu, personally I'd put her on a par:

Week 1: Blu was definitely better, Mo average at best

Week 2: Mo was better imo, debatable, but I haven't been a fan of Blu's runays all season as I've mentioned, they have been more polished but less creative/memorable than UK1 imo

Week 3: Blu was clearly better, Mo was arguably deserving of bottom

Week 4: Honestly about even, Blu's first half of her Snatch Game wasn't that great but the second saved it

Week 5: Mo killed it, Blu was fine

And Mo imo had better runways the whole season pretty much.

Honestly I wonder if Juju and Mo were like "why do we not get prize money" and couldn't be arsed, I mean for the non US/UK girls I suppose them getting exposure other queens don't have is reason enough. But then idk why they would say yes in that case  Some people are saying there was something in their contracts for AS5/AS4 that they had to do other series if asked, but there have been girls who have said no to All Stars before so I don't think that's true.

That sums up Mo for the whole series.

Goshhhh what an underwhelming finale.

Juju threw that last lipsync, right?

I had to laugh at Ru struggling to find best bits for the top 4's runs and falling back on tired superlatives.

I will say Blu did better than expected in those final lipsyncs and at least performed cleanly. They were a bit manic though and there was no sense that there was a routine planned for either of them. I at least hoped for some kind of reveal trick given she's not the world's best dancer.

I suppose looking back we should have known - the white blonde is always the default pick!

That's what I don't like about Blu's lipsync style, frantic is definitely the word for me and she starts at 100 so there's nowhere to go. You don't get any feeling from the songs, you just get frantic energy. I think she did well in them it just wasn't really for me

I did think it was unintentionally funny this episode how Ru so completely misjudged how Baga would come across to viewers.

Everything they said about her being relatable and likeable is the polar opposite to how she's been received by folk. This season has I think been pretty dreadful for her image and reputation and has doubled down on the critiques people had about her first run - how she was a little deluded, carried by production, ran her catchphrase into the ground, didn't bother trying whatsoever when the skill being tested was something she wasn't naturally good at, and had some crunchy runways and wigs.

I think that's kinda what put me off this season a bit - I didn't get the sense, I think, that any queen on it apart from perhaps Blu had actually improved their skills on any area where they struggled in their first, or most recent previous performance. Everyone was bringing just more of what they did on their first go.

You’ve hit the nail on the head for me!

It’s why I actually preferred both Juju and Mo’s lip syncs against Blu. Their performances felt controlled, they had a natural rhythm to them. I felt drawn to watching them, because they knew what they’re doing - but in my peripheral, Blu was doing the absolute most around them, but that “most” didn’t have substance to it? Blu was certainly commanding the judges’ attentions with her manic energy, flinging her arms about and thundering back & forth across the stage, but for me it had no particular qualities to make it an enjoyable lip sync. They just didn’t feel like winning lip syncs to me!

I really think it should have been Mo who won, but well done to Blu though. I did have a strong feeling that no matter what, we’d be getting a UK winner for a UK based programme.

Re: Untucked - I found Jimbo vs Pangina quite uncomfortable. What Jimbo was saying didn’t feel witty or like it was being said with a knowing wink, it just felt very mean? :(

Finally… Jujubee will always have my heart. Did she give her all this series? Absolutely not, but there were definitely some very pleasing moments and she’s always entertaining and a total sweetheart.

I feel that, like as soon as we got solid tea about Blu being in the finale, I felt like I knew she would win. It felt like they would crown a UK girl and I couldn't see them crowning Baga with the reaction she has from fans, Blu fits the All Star glowup the producers love. That's another thing that feels disappointing, it felt like they would crown her regardless and the lipsyncs kind of show that too. Again, that isn't her fault and she doesn't deserve any hate for it, but it is another thing that makes her victory and whole run on the show underwhelming for me.

Also agree about Jimbo, her behaviour wasn't "let me give good TV" or reality TV villain-esque, she just came across horribly and I think she should know better. Even off the show (on social media etc) she has been stirring the pot and given how her frankly awful fanbase was following Drag Race Canada, you would hope she knew better but nope, and then she came back and acted like that in this final. I'm glad Juju rose above it, few queens have the class, intelligence, grace and charisma she has and that's why I have to always love her.

Completely agreeing with pretty much everything Liam is saying in this thread.

Overall the series was a joke and this elimination process needs to be scrapped. It wasn't entertaining to see "shock" eliminations when it meant that the remainder of the show lost out on truly incredible queens.

Based on the proportion of time vs quality they demonstrated Pangina won, Jimbo second, Mo third for me.

I am so underwhelmed by the series as a whole after week 3 though and won't be rewatching it again.
