I'm kinda annoyed by some ppl on other forums saying they wish the best for jade but the album wouldnt have remarkable songs on it like helloooo?? How do you know that? Literally many ppl praised most of the songs and jade herself said it wouldnt be for everyone and literally aomd was a smash and its not even a save radio song either. everything is unexpected nowadays so many songs are smash hits where nobody would expect they would be.

 

But the last line of that person when they said ''i've listened to a song for 6 times and its just not hitting on me'' convinced me that it was just a nonsense ass comment like ur clearly not the target audience and i dont have anything against criticism but why not just saying u dont like it and move on instead of having the audacity to listening to leaked stuff and saying it wont do anything for jade if u dont know

 

(I still didn't listen to the leaks btw and i wont but i refuse to belive this album wont do it for her its for a specific target audience goddamn, i just had to get it out damn imma head out and calm down a lil tf)

I think you're all over reacting a little bit tbh. The "insiders" have basically told us things are on track right now for what was originally planned, haven't they? :unsure:

 

I just think we should calm down a little bit (not talking about the frustrations about the songs being leaked now etc.. they're perfectly valid) but speculation about the albums release is just that... speculation. If we don't have a pre-order up for an April release (as the insiders said - I think it was April or was it May? Icr) by mid March then sure, have at it.

 

I'm gonna end up having egg on my face sure :lol: but Idk... I'm feeling quietly confident that the album IS coming and it is coming soon... (even if RCA are the absolute WORST!)

I'd be shocked if the album isn't released. Not when she's performing at the Brits, and has 2 nominations (one of which she'll win - yes I said it!)

Does someone has a telegram link with the songs since that is not the finished product and coming later this year i cant wait any longer 🙏

I know nothing about the leaks and that, but a DJ played Plastic Box on a night out last night and she is MAD for keeping that one from us until now. What a song!

DJs play unreleased tracks all the time.

Album pre-order soon surely now...

She confirmed she is signing off the tracklist and album artwork next week.

I am fairly certain that 'That's Showbiz, Baby!' is the title... it was the curtain call of her performance!

Album is definitely happening. I'm really confident now.

Not having an album announcement or preorder up to hook in the casuals is just C R A Z Y.

There is almost zero chance of the album being shelved (following a BRIT win and that performance), if you want as many people to buy the album in this day and age, you need to make it easy for casual fans to find when it's on their mind. The performance will be long overshadowed by something else by the time a preorder is up - even the morning after is too late, really.

Album artwork/title/tracklisting/precise formats not ready? Who gives a flying f***^*... You don't even need that for a webstore pre-order:

• "Standard Vinyl" / "Standard CD" / "Standard Cassette"

• "Artwork being finalised"

• "Title TBC"

• "Tracklist to be revealed"

• "Debut album by JADE, featuring the SMASH HIT 'Angel Of My Dreams', performed at the 2025 BRIT awards!"

• "Release date 16/05/2025"

These can ALL be updated/added as and when the time comes... Release dates don't really matter in the grand scheme of things. RCA really are useless. 🤣

I'd argue that you DO need that info for pre-ordering now a days. People like to know what they're getting and if it isn't what they expected, they'll be all over Tik Tok shitting on it lol. (Take Tate's latest vinyl release as an example - she/her label have been jumped on because the mock ups on the website weren't exactly what was sold etc..)

If it's clearly described as such (and an order update is communicated when the details are finalised), I don't see how that would be an issue personally. In my view, it's similar to tours where you don't know what they'll perform or wear, but you're buying a ticket regardless! Same goes for kickstarter campaigns etc... People can then decide if they want to order it based on how much or little information is currently available...

But it makes sense not to, if other artists have run into trouble... The issue there lies with consumers not paying attention to what they've ordered. Lol
