March 16, 20223 yr Author Here are the results for Kylie's 8th studio album Fever. A very close battle for the top spot here but the title track edges out in front by just 1 point scoring an impressive 88 points, this also makes this the 2nd title track to come out on top here. Bonus track Tightrope finishes 2nd with 87 points, but had the most top rankings. Then in the 3rd spot & going through to the next round is Love Affair with a respectable 82 points, making this top 3 the closest yet. In fact these were the only songs to score top placements in the ranking round. "Fragile" was the only other contender in this race, but the 1 bottom 2 ranking cost it spme points towards the end. Here's how the songs performed in the ranking: 1. Fever - 88 2. Tightrope - 87 3. Love Affair - 82 4. Fragile - 75 5. Burning Up - 65 6. Your Love - 65 7. Dancefloor - 49 8. More, More, More - 49 9. Good Like That - 46 10. Boy - 37 11. Give It To Me - 36 12. Baby -28 13. Whenever You Feel Like It - 21 Well done to the 3 songs that made it through. Do you agree with the order they appeared in the ranking round?
March 16, 20223 yr I know 'Fever' was well-liked but wasn't expecting it to appear at the top. It's a great track but ranks towards the bottom of my album rank, which is testament to its quality. Yay for 'Love Affair' and 'Tightrope' though!
March 17, 20223 yr This rank and thread is such a nostalgia trip. Brings back such strong feelings and memories of when I first listened to all these albums.
March 17, 20223 yr Author Here are the results for Kylie's 9th studio album Body Language. The clear front runner here was Secret (Take You Home) which scored a whopping 109 points, the only track here to score over a 100 points, as well as getting 5 top rankings. In the 2nd spot with a strong score of 98 points is Loving Days, this again proved to be another firm fave on here. There was a very tight race for the 3rd spot, but thanks to some last minute high scores Still Standing pushed out with 84 points, just 2 points ahead of "Obsession" which was ahead of the other track for a while, before falling short at the last minute. Here's how the songs performed in the ranking: 1. Secret (Take You Home) - 109 2. Loving Days - 98 3. Still Standing - 84 4. Obsession - 82 5. After Dark - 72 6. Promises - 72 7. Sweet Music - 66 8. Slo-Motion - 58 9. Cruise Control - 57 10. I Feel For You - 40 11. Someday - 23 12. You Make Me Feel - 19 Well done to the 3 songs that made it through. Do you agree with the order they appeared in the ranking round? Edited March 17, 20223 yr by Nina West
March 17, 20223 yr Feel like a broken record but yet again that’s the right Top 3! Cruise Control and Slo Motion should be higher, After Dark is pretty uneventful and should not be high as 5th.
March 17, 20223 yr None of the body language tracks are big big faves of mine, so I'm not hugely bothered about the qualifiers from it.
March 17, 20223 yr The best winner, and a very good top 3. Body Language is maligned a lot, but I'd honestly say the top 9 there are all really quite good songs.
March 17, 20223 yr Get rid of 'I Feel For You', 'Someday' and 'After Dark' and replace with 'City Games', 'Cruise Control' and 'Slo Motion', then you have a pretty good album. 'On the Up' is a bop too but I don't know if it goes with anything else on the album.
March 18, 20223 yr Author Here are the results for Kylie's 10th studio album X. There were 16 songs in this ranking, the highest amount of any of Kylie's studio albums. Like A Drug scored a mammoth 188 points & was therefore the winner of this rank. White Diamond also held up strongly with an impressive 153 points. The 3rd spot changed multiple times throughout, in the end another bonus track Magnetic Electric won out with a 125 points, just a single point ahead of the 4th placed song "Cherry Bomb", "No More Rain" also came close, but lost out due to a last minute low score. Of interesting note that the majority of the bonus tracks proved to be more popular than what officially ended up on the album. Hell they even take up half the top 10, with 3 of them in the top 5. Here's how the songs performed in the ranking: 1. Like A Drug - 188 2. White Diamond - 153 3. Magnetic Electric - 125 4. Cherry Bomb - 124 5. No More Rain - 121 6. Rippin' Up The Disco - 116 7. Speakerphone - 113 8. Stars - 113 9. Sensitized - 113 10. King Or Queen - 82 11. Do It Again - 82 12. Carried Away - 69 13. Heart-Beat Rock - 63 14. I Don't Know What It Is - 62 15. Cosmic - 57 16. Nu-Di-Ty - 51 Well done to the 3 songs that made it through. Do you agree with the order they appeared in the ranking round?
March 18, 20223 yr Great x results especially for the brilliant like a drug and no surprise non akbum tracks outperforming alot of the actual album tracks.
March 18, 20223 yr I'd say 'Rippin' Up The Disco' should be higher, as should 'Do It Again' but the #1 is absolutely correct and again shows how the stuff that didn't make the cut is superior to a lot of the stuff that did.
March 18, 20223 yr 'Like a Drug' and 'White Diamond' were in my Top 3 (quite hard to compare the latter with all those electro-pop bangers but it's one of Kylie's best ballads). 'Magnetic Electric' is great too so happy with that going through. I expected the 'X' results to be very unpredictable and they've definitely proven to be. I thought 'Carried Away' and 'Do It Again' would be higher, certainly above 'King & Queen' and wasn't expecting to see 'No More Rain' that high. 'I Don't Know What It Is' is one of my faves but I know I'm quite alone on that one.
March 18, 20223 yr Author Here are the results for Kylie's 11th studio album Aphrodite. The top 3 here were pretty set in stone with the title track coming out on top with 97 points, making this the 3rd title track to come out on top here. Cupid Boy also proved popular on here with 84 points for the runner-up spot, then finally in the 3rd & final spot is quite surpisinglyMighty Rivers with 77 points, a bonus track that was 10 points ahead of the next track. "Illusion" looked like a strong contender for a while until it got a bottom ranking which saw it plummet. Actually was quite delighted when this was doing so well especially over some of the more fan fave tracks, but I do feel that "Illusion" has found more appreciation through the years & is now seen as a standout moment. Here's how the songs performed in the ranking: 1. Aphrodite - 97 2. Cupid Boy - 84 3. Mighty Rivers - 77 4. Illusion - 67 5. Closer - 65 6. Everything Is Beautiful - 60 7. Can't Beat The Feeling - 55 8. Too Much - 52 9. Looking For An Angel - 40 10. Heartstrings - 38 11. Go Hard or Go Home - 25 Well done to the 3 songs that made it through. Do you agree with the order they appeared in the ranking round?
March 18, 20223 yr Yay for the Top 2 but very surprised at 'Mighty Rivers' making #3! I think it's good but I find 'Heartstrings' far superior and would rather 'Closer' or 'Can't Beat the Feeling' there instead. 'Illusion' much higher than I expected too.
March 18, 20223 yr Author I do admit that "Illusion" passed me by when the album first came out, especially when compared to some of the other showier moments & it felt a little bit lost in the crowd, but recentlt its started to really grow on me & its a stunning track with a wonderful dream-like quality to it. A firm standout & actually wished it made the top 3. When this gets to another page I will post the 'Kiss Me Once' results. Edited March 18, 20223 yr by Nina West
March 18, 20223 yr 'Mighty Rivers' is just a beaut  This is my summer Kylie album! The whole thing flows incredibly well, but I'd be hard pushed to select actual singles from it - however 'Better Than Today' absolutely should not have been one!
March 18, 20223 yr Aphrodite definitely should have been a single and Mighty Rivers is stunning. Sad it’s not on Spotify as a bonus track. Imagine if they did a special edition vinyl with bonus tracks and included MR and Heartstrings!
