I think that Clean Bandit/A7S song is very good apart from the generic pitched vocal drop which would have been better as just some progressive house synths instead.
Just back from holiday and catching up with new releases. Am I the only one that's a bit underwhelmed by 'As It Was'? I haven't seen many negative comments on it on here. Maybe it takes a few listens?

Yeah I like As It Was but he's capable of better, it sounds like a song made for Tik Tok transitions lol.
think it's gonna be difficult to beat Watermelon Sugar as his signature song
Agree about the 'As It Was' comments, it's really nothing special, it's selling more from his name power than quality. I wish he'd come back with a properly amazing song!

I really like AIW… it’s grown on me massively, my only complaint is that it’s too short. But the song is great, progresses into different areas too and the lyrics are quite dark in places too.

 

Certainly will be the best Number 1 for many many months
