I detest this sigala song!! Such a basic song doesn’t do anything for me and it’s nothing like his earliest singles.

Biography

Acraze AKA Charlie Duncker, is showing to be a true visionary as he conquered the bold transition from his speaker-rattling bass sound to a more sophisticated house approach. Even before its official release, the now viral smash “Do It To It” on Thrive Music, spread like wildfire around the world. From every DJ, to influencer, to media outlet, the budding artist is proving to have an undeniable impact in the current global dance music scene. Acraze’s anthem went from being coined first as the ‘Song of the Summer’ to now ‘Song of the Year’ for 2021. Although Acraze is only 26 years-old, this moment did not come overnight. He grew up grinding the DJ circuit across the country, while developing his sound and collaborating with other rising producers. Demonstrating remarkable growth in a short period of time, Acraze is proving to be an act with a promising career ahead. - Spotify

Biography

Like drawing the curtains to let natural light flood a dark room, Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and All-American fencing champion Em Beihold sprinkles sunny melodies over sadness, sowing the seeds for pensive and powerful pop. Born and raised in Los Angeles of half-Persian descent, music called to her at just six-years-old. She spent years in piano lessons, learning classical and jazz. Simultaneously, she obsessed over favorite artists such as Regina Spektor.

At her very first live show in 2016, director Michelle Schumacher enlisted Em to contribute a song to her film I’m Not Here starring Academy® Award winner J.K. Simmons. The songstress penned “Not Who We Were” for the movie, and it also adorned her independent debut EP, Infrared, a year later. In 2020, she launched her TikTok page. The chorus to “City Of Angels” reacted virally on the platform, translating to 5.6 million Spotify streams. She maintained this momentum in 2021 with “Groundhog Day.” Not only did the initial teaser light up social media with 20 million views, but the song cracked the Spotify Viral 50 in the U.S. and The Philippines, surpassing 6.6 million Spotify streams. After generating tens of millions of streams independently and receiving acclaim from The Wild Honey Pie, Indie Shuffle, Voyage LA, and more, she immediately makes a connection on her Moon Projects/Republic Records debut “Numb Little Bug.” - Spotify

Hoping that Pink Floyd are still to come! I'm not really fussed by the song itself at all, but it'll be cool to see them back in the Top 40 after all these years
Sigala has certainly gone down hill. His music was creative but after Came Here for Love I started not liking his music. Apart from wish you well and lullaby.

This feels very “Gen Z TikTok” - not bad per se but doesn’t really excite me

Would’ve quite liked to hear ‘Do It To It’ even if it’s ancient now

Biography

A lyricist through-and-through and staple of the U.K. underground, rapper Potter Payper built his career on candid reflections of the environment he was raised in. His sophomore mixtape, Training Day, took on an iconic role in the U.K. rap scene, compiling a cohesive and compelling collection of street-level narratives. Potter Payper (real name Jamel Bousbaa) was born and raised on the Gascoigne Estate in Barking, England, to an Algerian father and Irish mother. Though constantly embroiled in high-stakes street environment he found himself in, Payper worked on music in order to turn things around for himself and his family, so he began to develop his rap skills. His now-iconic lyricism and compelling wordplay were first showcased on his debut mixtape The Philosopher's Chrome, before the rapper caught the ears of the U.K. at large with his BL@CKBOX freestyle. His sophomore mixtape, Training Day, arrived in July 2013; often lauded as a modern classic of the U.K. rap scene, the project established the rapper's signature style, a blend of boisterous vocals, street narratives, and evocative production. In 2015, Payper dropped a third independent mixtape and an EP; while 24 saw him progress into the dominant sounds of trap, One Time (released via Grimey Limey) provided a more traditional seven-track set. The long-awaited sequel to Training Day arrived in 2016 with Training Day 2, which followed the first album's lyrical directions and classic-sounding beats. In 2018 the rapper's musical ambitions were cut short by a jail sentence: After releasing the mixtape Regina vs. Jamel Bousbaa, he found himself incarcerated while working on his sixth set, Real Back in Style. After his 2020 release, the rapper embarked on a period of immense productivity and success. Kicking off the year with the 2020 Vision EP, he returned to the game in full force, delivering a brutal freestyle for Daily Duppy later that year. The long-awaited Training Day 3 arrived in September 2020: modernizing the iconic approach of the previous two tapes, TD3 was the rapper's biggest success to date, landing a third spot placement on the U.K. charts. - Apple Music

Biography

Sam Fender crafts the kind of tenacious anthemic rock that punches straight at the gut. Born and raised in 1994 in the northeastern English town of North Shields, the singer/songwriter first picked up a guitar at age 10 and began playing gigs locally as a teen to help support him and his mother. But it wasn’t until he started writing music for himself—rather than what he thought others wanted to hear—that everything started to click. That’s when he wrote his 2017 debut single, “Play God”, a propulsive, politically charged slice of indie rock. It came from a place of deep desperation, “a time where I was like, ‘I need to prove myself. I need to do something that cuts through,’” he told Apple Music. The track earned him a slot on BBC’s Sound of 2018 shortlist, which led to a deal with Polydor Records and the release of his acclaimed 2019 debut, Hypersonic Missiles, an album that channels modern-day anxiety through heartfelt heartland rock. His 2021 follow-up, Seventeen Going Under, hit even harder, pumped full of soaring arrangements and bold statements that continue to prove Fender’s power as a mighty millennial voice for the working class. - Apple Music

Me too. Hoping they play Bruno.

Seventeen Going Under   my favourite so far by some considerable distance!

Surprised I’m not bored of it yet but there we go

Scott before said 21 questions by so solid crew I’m sure. Think he was confusing 21 seconds with 21 questions.
I will not get tired of this, it’s so different to other songs in the chart.
