Greece: not convinced by those vocals ngl but it's clearly a big-sounding song

Norway: very gimmicky but combined with a banger

Greece - good vocal but not sure what that staging was about

Norway - can see the appeal and want it to do well purely for Ben Adams!

Greece - amazing, Swedish in all but name

Norway - atrocious in every way

lol I would say the other way round. :D

If I could do anything before the final, get Ronela to do something more with the stage than just have dancers, and turn down the lighting just a bit for Greece so Amanda doesn't disappear.
the wolf entry about as fun as I expected although not quite the most bonkers entry of the night surprisingly
Armenia sounds a lot like a lot of artists/songs I’ve been loving recently (Ben & Tan, Smith & Thell etc)

Albania \ 10 \ I will admit to being lightly distracted by the staging. I am now a little thirstier than I was. Emm but yeah, the song is a banger and that was a great performance. Absolutely here for it

Latvia \ 09 \ I had found their gimmick a bit irritating but f***ing damn that was a fantastic performance. I fully get this now. The song bounces along and takes the arena fully with it.

Lithuania \ 08,5 \ Hadn't been getting the hype behind this one in studio form but there is just something so charming funky about this track. Loving it.

Switzerland \ 03 \ This feels like a bad parody of a John Lewis ad and while he has a good voice and he is singing this song very well its just so fucking boring. Bring back Luca Hänni asap pls.

Slovena \ 08 \ My favourite ESC nation  they're just so criminally underrated. This song is cute and he is performing it well. It is doomed to DNQ because well it is Slovenia but theres certainly worse this year.

Ukraine \ 10 \ I am really enjoying the song. It isn't quite as mental as Shum but there is a chaotic energy to it that I am fully behind.

Bulgaria \ 09 \ Ok sorry but I absolutely love this. I know its total dad rock but still just rocking away to it. Man I am getting old.

The Netherlands \ 08,5 \ Another really great track and it is really well performed as well. I really like her voice.

Modolva \ 09 \ I really really really want to hate this but I cant and I am here for it. The German commentator said that if Deutsche Bahn had onboard entertainment like this he wouldnt mind the delays and i actually howled.

Portugal \ 08 \ This is growing on me. I have previously written this off as dull, and it is overhyped as hell online, but it is competent

Croatia \ 10 \ I have been really loving this in the run up and it is still absolutely cute and twee in a very Tone Damli way (so obviously I am ALL OVER IT). She's performing it excellently too

Denmark \ 08 \ Another one I had kinda written off before the show that is actually really working for me on the big stage! Really enjoyable, that kick from Ballad into Banger is excellent.

Austria \ 13 \ FUCK YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. Absolute fucking BANGER from start to finish. Pia did so well. I am so so SO SO STOKED. Absolutely nailed it. ooooooft am flying. Swear down if this DNQs

Iceland \ 04 \ Prepared to trigger an essay, but this is just bland and forgettable. It is well performed but its just a bad song.

Greece \ 07 \ To say that I hate the vocoder effect on her vocal in the first verse and chorus would be an understatement. Absolutely rancid. And really irritating, feels like they are in search of a gimmick for a song that absolutely doesn't need it because it has an absolute POWERHOUSE of a chorus that she can completely nail live. Lose that vocoder shite and this is a clear second for me.

Norway \ 10 \ Absolutely brilliant. I am so here for this and the full insanity of it. Although the Dominos guy had the audacity to arrive in the middle of it. 0 stars for you

Armenia \ 09 \ I have also been absolutely loving this in the run up this year and while it wasn't absolutely note perfect I thought the performance was really good! The song is great and I really enjoy it

Oooft that rip before the final chorus could have went horribly wrong.

I like Armenia and I like how that performance was done. Hope that qualifies

Armenia: a bit MOR but the staging is pretty effective and it builds into something
