May 27, 20223 yr Author Diplo getting an 11th straight week on the B-list is beyond ridiculous now! I'm intrigued about their rationale for keeping it on for that long. I'd understand it if it was making major waves in the chart but it's not :unsure: At the risk of sounding like Hadji, they should have removed Diplo and Tom Grennan and added Måneskin and Rina Sawayama!
May 27, 20223 yr Nothing much of interest for me this weekend. I can't see these getting many spins across the weekend with the Big Weekend coverage, so there'll unlikely be a Tune of the weekend either.

Diplo works for Radio 1 (or at least did in the past). That's probably something to do with it. :lol:

May 27, 20223 yr Ooh at 'N95' getting the playlist slot for Kendrick instead of 'Die Hard', we love to see it *.* 'N95' is the one song that has a music video but 'Die Hard' was the one that got the early streaming playlist push in the UK so was a bit unclear which, if either, was meant to be 'the single' here. Great to see Lorde A-Listed again + good adds from Chase And Status and MUNA too (a bit late for the latter but it's a much better song than their more recent single so not complaining). That Mahalia song though :') I guess it's better than Digga D's 50 Cent interpolation but that isn't hard x Wonder why they never moved Diplo to the A-List...
May 27, 20223 yr Though it’s very odd for Diplo to get that many weeks on the playlist, at least with it being on the B-List it doesn’t feel overplayed compared to if it had a while on the A-List. Next week hopefully Holly Humberstone and LP Giobbi can move up - however I feel the latter will probably end up with just 4 weeks on the C-List like a few dance tracks have recently e.g. ‘Garden’, ‘079’ and ‘Good Time’.
