June 1, 20223 yr I'm really liking both of the auto-qualifiers this month (I didn't care much for the previous TXT entry but this one is actually really lovely! + Naked Flames is very lo-fi DJ Sabrina vibes which I unsurprisingly love). I do think both of them might struggle to get through a semi so both good choices for an AQ. I do think having an AQ is a good time to take a gamble, as you get the chance to make sure a song finds its entire audience in the final, even if it's a small one, whereas being marooned in the wrong semi may mean the people you thought might most enjoy the track could sadly never hear it. Obviously I can see this won't be everyone's bag with the intentionally blurry lo-fi production but I find it pretty addictive despite - maybe partly even because of that! - so hoped it would appeal to some others too.
June 1, 20223 yr I have voted, not an amazing semi but a couple of great discoveries. I’ll be very disappointed if I don’t make it through, but feels like a lot of supporters might be in the other semi.
