Nice to see Joji still getting decent Spotify debuts, hopefully another top 100 hit for him!

 

Yet To Come is #129 and Run BTS is #195 on Apple for BTS. Looks like their gonna have to rely on sales and YouTube even more than usual this time to get a hit

 

They've only really got big hits in the UK with their English language songs, 'Yet To Come' definitely seems to be more of a 'Life Goes On' (at best) than a 'Dynamite'/'Butter'.

 

I am interested to see what happens in the US though, this is their first release since Billboard changed some rules about bulk purchases. I don't know if they are still going for the aggressive direct-to-consumer sales strategy anyway though what with this just being the focus track from a new album rather than a separate single release.

Will Joseph Cook is actually his real name. For the longest time I used to think it was a pretentiously named band! I quite liked his debut album 'Sweet Dreamer' but he's kind of lost me since then. That didn't make the top 100 so it will be interesting to see if this one comes anywhere near close.

I somehow forgot George released his album this week. There was me looking shocked to see GGG as high as #13 on Spotify today lol. Shame AFY didn't get that high and was a top 10 instead :(

 

The Joji song is nice, just gave it a listen. Can see why TikTok picked up on using it too!

 

OneRepublic in the top 40 now too. Climbing rapidly that.

Running up that hill down to 615K but it's a Sunday so the drop was expected

 

so looks like this is gonna be Joji's first proper hit

I see he's got 4 top 100 in the UK already, the highest peaking just outside the top 40 at #36 (Run)

Also 3 top 100 hits in the US

he already had a huge sleeper hit in US (Slow Dancing in the Dark) so i guess it was only a matter of time before he’d get an instant hit.

Lots of Harry songs climbing today and Sign Of The Times re-entering. As It Was is almost 50k up on last Sunday.
