Wuthering Heights is a masterpiece and amazed she wrote and composed that at 17 yo and was it the first debut single by a female to be no1?

Also love Cloudbusting, Hounds of Love, December Will be Magic!

Best album has to be 'The Dreaming' but love 'Kick Inside', 'Red Shoes' and of course 'Hounds of Love'

Top 10 (and great that 'Be Kind' and 'Experiment IV' have been mentioned

1. Leave it Open

2. Experiment IV

3. Wuthering Heights (new Vocal)

4. Moments of Pleasure

5. Suspended in Gaffa

6. Be Kind to My Mistakes

7. Hello Earth

8. You Want Alchemy

9. Breathing

10. A Coral Room

Her B sides are just incredible.

Article about 10 recommended songs to check out if new to Kate Bush. All singles apart from 'Top of the City' (mentioned earlier in this thread), 'Waking the Witch' and 'Somewhere in Between' (surprised about that one, tbh. It's good but nowhere near the best on Aerial)

It's a toss up between This Woman's Work, Babooshka and Don't Give Up with Peter Gabriel for me. I bought her best of in a HMV sale a couple of years ago and those are the standout career moments. I'm fully here for her reappraisal and for Running Up That Hill being as successful as it has been.
I need to give her back catalogue a proper listen again but the standout for me is This Woman’s Work

Wuthering Heights and Running Up That Hill might be cliche answers but they're two of my absolute favourite songs ever, Wuthering Heights in particular has to be top 5 for me.

She has so many amazing all time greats though! Cloudbusting, This Woman's Work, Hounds Of Love, Deeper Understanding, Suspended In Gaffa, Breathing, Babooshka, Sat In Your Lap, There Goes A Tenner, Get Out My House, The Big Sky and And Dream Of Sheep are all up there too for me. Never For Ever-The Dreaming-Hounds Of Love is one of the best album runs possible tbh!!

Ah yes. I always thought that was a bit of a pre-cursor to Kashka from Baghdad:

i do see that actually... never thought of that before! I wonder if Kashka lives with Eddie.

Breathing

The Kick Inside

Leave it Open

Wuthering Heights

Experiment IV

Ne T'enfuis Pas

The Infant Kiss/ Un Baiser D'Enfant

Not in any particular order there

I've been re-listening to a lot of her music over the past couple of days and I think my top 10 right now would look a little something like this:

01. Wuthering Heights

02. Cloudbusting

03. Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)

04. Experiment IV

05. Hello Earth

06. The Man With the Child in His Eyes

07. Babooshka

08. Hounds Of Love

09. This Woman's Work

10. Leave It Open
