Tension didn't make the top 10 in the vinyl, but was probably top 20

Strange because in the Music Week article it mentions Tension being in the Top 10.

Seven of the 10 biggest vinyl LP sellers in the year to date are a 2023 new release, led by 1989 (Taylor’s Version) by Taylor Swift and also including her album Speak Now (Taylor’s Version), along with albums by Blur (The Ballad Of Darren), Lana Del Rey (Did You Know There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd), Lewis Capaldi (Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent), Kylie Minogue (Tension) and The Rolling Stones (Hackney Diamonds).

But then proceeds to not include her in the Top 10 list, which includes Olivia Rodrigo - Guts instead.

1 Taylor Swift – 1989 (Taylor’s Version)

2 The Rolling Stones – Hackney Diamonds

3 Lana Del Rey – Did You Know There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd

4 Taylor Swift – Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)

5 Fleetwood Mac – Rumours

6 Blur – The Ballad Of Darren

7 Pink Floyd – The Dark Side Of The Moon

8 Taylor Swift – Midnights

9 Olivia Rodrigo – Guts

10 Lewis Capaldi – Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent

Source for the above list is Official Charts Company, and quite honestly they've become sloppy in recent times with giving accurate info... so I'm not sure whether to believe the write up or the list regarding Tension being Top 10 or not. (Another recent example of OCC sloppiness is them declaring Wham - Last Christmas as the 3rd best selling single of all time, and then the 5th best selling single of all time, in the same article lol).

Tension is #3 in the cassette list!

Surprised she’s not top ten….hopefully some further sales data will be released.

No reductions still

wonder if they are going to wait until Xmas sales over and then they release a new single end of January and reduce the album then in a less competitive market?

Who knows. i guess they have made their money

Even Tension vinyls have been taken out of the HMV 3 for £55 deal

Wonder what this is for?

Would be surprised if she doesnt do a little promo in Australia while there. Not doing Vegas again until 19th January

Disappointed it's not top 100 this week, I knew from the midweeks it was out but this time last week I was hopeful of another week top 75 and didnt think it would be out of the top 100.

I hoped for at least Top 100 at a minimum - I guess she’s contending with not only post Christmas reductions but also the upturn in Christmas album success due to the way streams are counted for singles and albums.

She needed less than 1800 to stay top 100 this week so it's disappointing she didnt achieve it.

It will be a slow trek to gold and will easily be her lowest bmg selling album.

It needs to sell almost as much as it already has to be up there with Disco and Golden and i really cant see that happening. As others have said which i agree i just think the Vegas shows cost Tension doing much better in the UK than it has.
Without any discounts, its probably already nearly made as much as the other albums and we don't know what else to expect
I’m not confident we will get any other singles tbh unless it’s from a reissued version of the album. The extended mixes for disco only came out towards the end of the campaign but extension has been released a lot sooner.

I'm hoping they reissue the album with the bonus cd been the extended versions and 2 new songs with 1 been a brand new single.

37 on Apple Music is great again. Pity it just gets no traction on Spotify

I think it will return to the top 100 this week - just
