What was Discos total week 1 streams huns?

 

I feel like Tension is obviously ahead of Disco right now (we still have double cassettes to ship and whatever sold on kyliess online pop up store to uk addresses) but I feel that the daily increases for Tension will not be as big as Discos unless they do signed CDs or Vinyls midweek.

 

40k is a great start and if it can sell what Disco did that would be amazing huns.

 

I hope it can break 60k as that would be iconic hun

Why is 1675 streaming not great? Obviously does not include yesterdays streams either and it is over half of Doja cats total sales... I am quite happy with the 1675 but maybe I am mistaken hun

Carol, hun, I literally just copied the post, I was seeing people in the comments asking why it wasn't great but also if I would have bought the vinyl, I would like to listen to it in my vinyl player instead of Spotify (I would put it playing in mute but still).

I'm sad that I couldn't grab my vinyl yet but I'm travelling until mid-October (and I live in Belgium so it doesn't count to UK charts)

Tension streaming sales are up on Disco at the same time so I feel she is doing very well on streaming. Especially when Doja cats total streaming and digi so far is not a million miles a head of Kylies just streams.

People in the SayHey FB group melting my brain about the supposedly "low" streaming numbers already, and their mistaken belief Doja is somehow a big blockbuster albums act.

 

40k is excellent so far! I'd love it make silver by the end of week 1, but that remains to be seen.

There will be missing streaming data.

 

Also where are the single cassette and cassette bundle sales????

 

+ double cassettes counted from 26th Sept

 

I think sales will slow down but hopefully it just beats Disco and can get near 60k

 

Not having so many variants available won't help though. I think BMG will throw something else out tomorrow even if its just signed stuff

Tensions uk sales streams are way up on Discos at this point and THAT says a lot huns

 

Especially when Padam and Tension streams will be weighed down to the average, it shows that Tensions other tracks are doing really well on streaming.

 

Kylies streaming sales are not that much lower than Doja Cat who is apparently this streaming artist. Will be interesting to see Kylies total steaming sales on Friday and compare to other acts as well as Disco and Golden, so we can all put this into perspective and actually acknowledge the streaming gains Kylie has made this era huns

How long is her Vegas Residency? Iirc I don't think they're allowed to tour until their Vegas contract is over! (I can't remember how Britney got around it though in 2017, but it ended in Dec that year anyway!) (I can't remember exactly though and I may be wrong!)

The biggest ear worm for me is 'Hands'... there's just something so smooth and addicting about that! It's reminiscent slightly to 'Say So' by Doja Cat for me. It's great! (Oh and sorry, still not on board with that 'Love Train'... sorry! :P)

These are fantastic sales. I had hoped for 70K for Tension, but it’s looking like Tension will do more than DISCO first week, which is great considering the market has collapsed further since 2020.

 

Casual sales really are a thing of the past though, these sales are probably 98% fanbase driven.

Would this not be better to release on itunes though too?

 

Added to streaming on Friday maybe?

Presumably it's easier and quicker to add to the official store. I guess it may end up on iTunes at some point.

 

Very happy to have two more tracks available! Off to give the deluxe a purchase, should give the downloads a boost which appear to be down on those of 'Disco'. Also 40k on today's update is very good, only three albums in 2023 have surpassed this!
