July 2, 20223 yr Yeah especially as there will definitely be some who bought Part 1 who won’t want to buy it again in order to get Part 2 physically.
July 2, 20223 yr How would that work with the chart rules? Do both parts 1 and 2 count as the same album? Is part 2 available separately to part 1? On Spotify it looks like it's all one album.
July 2, 20223 yr I wonder where kate will land if she goes on ACR this week? If she's on acr, i think she'll stay top 5, if she has avoided, easily #1 again!
July 2, 20223 yr How would that work with the chart rules? Do both parts 1 and 2 count as the same album? Is part 2 available separately to part 1? On Spotify it looks like it's all one album. Nope, all the physicals contain Parts 1 & 2. I suppose we’ll find out how it works in the chart on Monday!
July 2, 20223 yr As previously discussed in their album thread, there's literally no way to predict if the OCC will combine the Imagine Dragons release or not, there is recent precedent for either way (Lil Uzi Vert for being combined, Polo G for not being combined). I'm gonna take a guess at it not being combined but who knows x In any case yeah Paolo should easily be #1 anyway.
July 3, 20223 yr How bizarre the IG situation, that you have to buy again Act 1 if you want Act 2, why couldn't they sell Act 2 solo? on paper it should count as a new entry as this is not the deluxe of Act 1 but a new album
July 3, 20223 yr Afraid To Feel sounds like a 2000s haus no.1 combined with VB - Out of Your Mind. There's nothing quite like it in the charts, so a 1 week no.1 for it would br VERY 2000s, giving it back to Kate Bush the week after.
July 3, 20223 yr Afraid to Feel and Out of Your Mind literally have nothing in common lol its more reminiscent of Lady Hear Me Tonight / Make Luv with the 70s funk/disco influence.
July 3, 20223 yr I don’t see Imagine Deagons being any threat to Paolo Nutini I think Paolo will get the number 1 fairly comfortably.
July 3, 20223 yr It's no good for comparisons cos it happened a long long time ago (2014) and the album charts HAS CHANGED COMPLETELY but just checked and the last Paolo Nutini album opened with 109K!!! Thats crazy!! FROM MW: Paolo Nutini scores the biggest first week sales of his career and the biggest weekly sale of 2014, with his third album Caustic Love selling 109,011 copies last week to debut at number one.
July 3, 20223 yr Paolo haas left it far too long and there is literally no hype around his comeback. Think he’ll be lucky to get 10k.
July 3, 20223 yr Afraid To Feel sounds like a 2000s haus no.1 combined with VB - Out of Your Mind. That's the most bizarre comparison I've ever seen  It's no good for comparisons cos it happened a long long time ago (2014) and the album charts HAS CHANGED COMPLETELY but just checked and the last Paolo Nutini album opened with 109K!!! Thats crazy!! Well I didn't realise he opened with that much last time around :o I know it's been 8 years but surely he'll get way more than 10% of that figure! Edited July 3, 20223 yr by Mangø
