Oh gosh, literally every country I thought might like my song is in the other semi  I suppose given I got a jackpot semi last time, this is fate aligning itself, Spare a thought for my Radiohead-esque psychedelia, it was such a standout first listen.

Driftmoon was a future potential for me and was in my Q2 chart <3 Loved their other song contest entries and this one is another great trance/violin combo.

I’ve been contemplating entering a BVNDIT song for about two years now but have just never done it. So to see their second best song being entered is exciting and I hope it gets the recognition it DESERVES

Think I shall do a semi 1 SyncTube listenthrough tomorrow (Monday) evening :jump: x (for if people survive through the heatwave during the day)

A Spanglish version of Jadakissnia's entry (English verses/Spanish chorus) was on one of those DJ promo CDs I got last year in a charity shop from 2001! I think they'd intended to give it a UK push at the time but for whatever reason it either didn't happen or flopped - undeservedly if so, it's a great summer pop song.

Seems this version is pretty rare as it's not available to download or stream!

Needing to get my votes in sharpish so I'm listening now. Throwing out some early Jadakissnia and Yehesi hype.

Oh yes I came across this version on YouTube - was spoilt for choice with three different iterations, although no streaming presence for that one indeed. Shame it never quite got that push here then!

The timing for such a summery entry is bang on right now *.*

Sending some big hype over from the other semi to Séyetana, Goat Girl are a band I've had my eye on for a while thinking they had potential to make something great and this is it  (it's actually a slightly older song than the ones I know from them but still).

Some hype to Lookylion, Republic of Adonia, Trifoski and Utopia too.

Finally, someone with taste :cheeseblock:

Voting now as I've got a busy week ahead! Really enjoyed semi 2, my top 5 is SUPER strong - throwing my support behind Persephonia with an entry that feels very Pestoliacore.

Ooh some hype *.*

I suppose a dark song by a Ukrainian artist is a pretty Pestolia aesthetic.

excellent, excellent, I had a great listen to their album a few days ago it's high-quality

good semi on first listen, I'm not sure of the order yet, a few pop tracks that sound pretty great, a few fantastic alt ones

Kath for the win with Paola & Chiara and Ana Mena preferably in Top 3 :drink:

It's summer and blazin' outside so you must vote for the summer sounding songs!!!

Kath's song does sound the most likely winner!

Although there's some very big pop in here this month too - I presume it will all split the vote. Kluminican Republic is perhaps the one most likely to crossover, maybe FARC too.

Can't call how Altyr will do, Isabelle has a huge chorus and I love it - as I love all of Alba's other songs. On paper it sounds huge but it's exactly the same formula as her last two so either it will go top ten like they did or diminishing returns could set in.

Oh - and of course Aeroche is a contender, I understand it recently won PJSC and you'd think BJSC would be even more friendly to it, but the competition is fierce here this month. Top five though I'm sure.

And yes of the summer/retro songs Jade will do best I think, another top five contender. Not sure about Bowie - maybe foolish to rule out another anniversary entry winning, especially from an icon, but I suspect top 10/15 area for that.
