July 29, 20224 yr But why Snap of all the Eurovision 2022 songs? ask tiktok, its always so random with which songs take off!
July 29, 20224 yr This is actually 23. Music for a Sushi Restaurant is at 24. ah didnt catch that, thank you so much!
July 29, 20224 yr this might be my fav song of the year <3 too beautiful for the charts <3 can't believe she's so young, she writes songs like a 40 years old she's too good at describing what's going on with relationships and breakups the Maybe I'm the Problem coda is the bestest <3
July 29, 20224 yr 'Snap' is okay but nothing special really. There's a reason why it finished 20th really. Shame it's peaked higher than 3 winners (Dadi being bookies in 2020 had it not been cancelled obviously). 'TV' is alright but sounds like background music.
July 29, 20224 yr 22 | 29 | 2nd week Calvin Harris, Justin Timberlake, Halsey and Pharrell Williams Stay With Me 2nd single from Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 2 Released: 15th July 2022 Label: Sony Music Entertainment UK Chart Statistics NE (28/07/2022) | 29-22 Sales: 10k+ Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio 10 Sales 49 Audio Streaming __ Video Streaming Video eMQuofsOOzo Biography Talk about an unexpected career trajectory. In 2007, 23-year-old Calvin Harris released I Created Disco, a cheeky shot across dance music’s bow that presented him as Scotland’s brow-arched answer to LCD Soundsystem. Fast-forward a few years, and the scruffy fellow playing house-party host in the “Merrymaking at My Place” video is suddenly baring oil-slicked abs on Calvin Klein billboards. What happened, of course, is that Harris (born Adam Richard Wiles in 1984) traded up from the Amiga computer of his teens, developed some of the best studio chops in the business with deep-house rollers like 2013's “Thinking About You,” and helped spark EDM’s pop crossover with hits for Rihanna, Florence Welch, Ellie Goulding, and others. Along the way, he became one of the 2010s’ first DJ/producer/songwriter polymaths to earn top billing even on the songs in which he didn’t sing. No stranger to pyro-lit main stages—his percussive, synth-strafed 2014 single “C.U.B.A.” is big-room house at its most gargantuan—Harris has resisted getting boxed into any one sound. On 2017’s Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1, he lays down a set of slinky R&B jams for Frank Ocean, Migos, and Young Thug, while the 2018 singles “Promises,” with Sam Smith, and “One Kiss,” with Dua Lipa, proved just how versatile his vision of pop can be. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History Calvin Harris 2007 10 Acceptable In The 80s -1- 2007 03 The Girls -2- 2007 43 Merrymaking At My Place -3- 2008 01 Dance Wiv Me (Dizzee Rascal feat. July 29, 20224 yr 21 | 19 | 13th week Future featuring Drake and Tems WAIT FOR U 2nd single from I NEVER LIKED YOU Released: 29th April 2022 Label: Epic Records Chart Statistics NE (12/05/2022) | 8-8-12-12-14-16-16-20-18-20-18-19-21 Sales: 200k+ Certification: Silver Status: Standard Chart Ratio 57 Sales 08 Audio Streaming 14 Video Streaming Video rP09GUQFDFk Biography There’s a good anecdote that Future recounted in an interview—about getting into an argument with a guy who was worried about one of the Atlanta rapper’s engineers. The engineer hadn’t left the studio in a week. Had he even eaten? Don’t worry, Future said—he himself hadn’t left in a week, either, and someone was bringing in Wendy’s from up the block. Barely a season goes by without new music from the rapper born Nayvadius Wilburn (in 1983)—whether it’s a mixtape, solo album, or collaborative project (with Drake, with Gucci Mane, with the producer Zaytoven). But prolific isn’t the half of it. Druggy, raw, slick, and surreal, Future’s sound—crystallized on highlights like 2014’s Honest, 2015’s DS2, and 2017’s HNDRXX—has helped redefine 2010s street rap as something strange and almost avant-garde: trap as modern psychedelia. Not that it isn’t melodic too. Like fellow Atlantan and collaborator Young Thug, Future has a way of bending his voice (often using Auto-Tune) into soulful, often sad shapes, half-rapped and half-sung—the sound of a crooner stuck in space. “The biggest thing is just being yourself all the time,” he told Beats 1 host Zane Lowe in early 2017. “When you try and be yourself all the time, everyone’s not gonna like it. But you gotta wake up with that person. At the end of the day, you can be able to look at the person and be like, You know what, I know I’m being myself; I’m not being anyone else. And that’s the greatest thing about this: It’s me being myself.” - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History Future 2013 44 Love Me (Lil Wayne feat. July 29, 20224 yr 20 | 17 | 13th week Bru-C No Excuses Non-album single Released: 28th April 2022 Label: 0207 Def Jam Chart Statistics NE (12/05/2022) | 84-69-62-50-47-43-43-45-40-28-21-17-20 Sales: 100k+ Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio 21 Sales 26 Audio Streaming 10 Video Streaming Video OvureZfa7AI Biography “We are on a wave/Take over the place,” Bru-C raps on his 2019 single “You & I”, and while he’s ostensibly speaking to a new love, he could very well have been talking about himself and his producer Simula. After his scene-stealing appearance on Skepsis’ “Hold It Down” made him a leading voice in the UK’s jacked-up bassline scene, “You & I” pushed the Nottingham MC (born Josh Bruce in 1991) further overground, by hitching his deep, authoritative voice to a fleet-footed drum ‘n’ bass track that became his first breakthrough hit (and also helped him establish his own clubwear line, Krudd). Bru-C continued on a D’n’B tip with the equally frenetic 2021 single “Streetside”; however, lyrically, the song tapped into a more introspective side. Chronicling his hard-knock upbringing, Bru-C declares “music is my freedom”—and true to his word, he adapted the track into a melancholic acoustic ballad for promotional appearances, suggesting that freedom knows no bounds. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 2021 84 Streetside (Bru-C & Bou) -NAS- 2022 17 No Excuses -NAS- 0 x #1 | 0 x Top 5 | 0 x Top 10 | 1 x Top 20 | 1 x Top 40 | 2 x Top 100 Social Media Bru-C http://i.imgur.com/1SERq1f.png Edited July 29, 20224 yr by Conorw
July 29, 20224 yr 'Stay With Me' is growing on me but then I said the same about 'Potion' let's see how long that lasts. This does have more going going on in it though.

On the one hand, he was proud—who wouldn’t be? Not only were people listening to his music, but he’d also become the face of something bigger than himself, a new chapter in the changing narrative of race and representation in pop music. On the other hand, it wasn’t like he’d ever thought of himself as an Asian artist before—just an artist. Still, he considered himself a guest of the culture. And like any good guest, he wanted to carry himself with respect. Or, as he once joked, to take off his shoes when he came into the house. Born in Osaka in 1992, Miller got his start as the creator of two irreverent and highly popular YouTube personalities, Filthy Frank and Pink Guy—projects that didn’t necessarily reflect his artistic ambitions, but proved his firm handle on the fluid vernacular of internet culture. Since debuting Joji in late 2017, Miller has become a key voice in a clique of younger hip-hop and R&B artists—including his peers in the 88rising collective—who have managed to connect as seamlessly with Asian audiences as with American ones, a reflection of both the changing demographics of global culture and the border-free nature of life online. And his music—moody, downcast ballads and sleek electro-pop—only underscores the idea that in an increasingly digital world, where you’re from is less important than what you’re into. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 2019 63 Sanctuary -1- 2020 46 Run -2- 2020 86 Gimme Love -3- 2020 97 Ew -AT- 2022 12 Glimpse Of Us -1- 0 x #1 | 0 x Top 5 | 0 x Top 10 | 1 x Top 20 | 1 x Top 40 | 5 x Top 100 Social Media Joji http://i.imgur.com/1SERq1f.png Edited July 29, 20224 yr by Conorw

There were the hip-hop heavyweights of the Top Dawg Entertainment stable, the indie-rap provocateurs of the Odd Future crew, the electronic/jazz experimentalists of the Brainfeeder family—and standing at the intersection of all these game-changing forces was Steve Lacy. Born in Compton in 1998, Lacy (né Lacy-Moya) first surfaced as the teen wunderkind guitarist/producer for Odd Future offshoot The Internet, shaping their woozy funk atmospheres with beats he created on his iPhone. After The Internet’s 2015 opus, Ego Death, earned Lacy a Grammy nomination before he’d finished high school, his lo-fi approach attracted some high-profile clientele, and he’d go on to leave his smudged fingerprints on J. Cole’s chart-topping 4 Your Eyez Only and Kendrick Lamar’s epochal DAMN., among many others. All the while, Lacy was laying the groundwork for his own solo career, updating Prince’s psych-soul auteurism for a post-Mac DeMarco bedroom-pop age on endearingly off-the-cuff singles like “Dark Red” and “C U Girl.” (That tightrope walk between R&B swagger and outsider aesthetics carries over to his guest features for urbano star Kali Uchis, indie kingpins Vampire Weekend, and avant-funk maestro Thundercat.) His reputation as a certified vibe-master well established, Lacy revealed more of himself on his 2019 full-length debut, Apollo XXI, using the epic alt-rap suite “Like me” to address his bisexuality and fear of coming out. But that sort of candor is perfectly suited to his musical m.o.—whether he’s beatmaking on his phone or opening his heart, Lacy always puts a premium on honesty and intimacy. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 2020 75 Live Without Your Love (Love Regenerator & Steve Lacy) 2022 18 Bad Habit -1- 0 x #1 | 0 x Top 5 | 0 x Top 10 | 0 x Top 20 | 1 x Top 40 | 2 x Top 100 Social Media Steve Lacy http://i.imgur.com/1SERq1f.png Edited July 29, 20224 yr by Conorw
