I'm exactly the same with both Afraid To Feel and BOTA :cheeseblock: Feels like I was the only one on the entire forum :lol: Both decent but I barely revisit them tbh.

 

I agree but def think it just my age, heard songs like BOTA in 2001 and thought they were bangers, 20 years later I’ve heard it all before. More interested in some of the Fred Again output which is fresher!

oh thats surprising cos the iTunes effect has been very little, 150 copies for her top song max

 

I think that’s just the fact iTunes has a lessening amount of buyers overall than artists not doing much except for the few occassions such as Xmas week.

I think songs like Afraid To Feel and BOTA making it big is just nice because they aren't the same old Love Island core dance music that's been released 1000 times over the past few years, even if that doesn't mean they are doing something that's never ever been heard before.

 

More variety in the charts is always nice.

B.O.T.A must be at least top 10 combined on apple, possibly higher, I wonder if it genuinely could scrape a top 10 place on Friday? It was #20 on Monday, but it’s growing hugely day by day, very interesting to see where it will be in todays update

For me it's not really anything to do with age, I still love the songs I loved about 10 years ago and love a lot of songs that are typically aimed at a younger audience + i.e Olivia Rodrigo, Little Mix. I just don't think they're that good.

LF System must be going to ACR soon I think, it's been dropping in sales for weeks now

so BOTA has a clear chance at #1 imho
