Thanks to Jay for giving me the official go ahead with a brand new Steps rate. I did one back in 2018 the link Singles Rate 2018 & had a lot of fun with it. Since then they've had 2 more albums and an upcoming greatest hits collection and so I thought it would be a great time to look back and revisit some old classics and appreciate the newer ones as-well.

But I'm torn on which one to do?

The traditional singles rate which would feature 34 songs or 'The Platinum Collection' rate which would be 40 songs. NOT including the remixes or the tracks on the group's individual sections (apart from 'Wasted Tears') as that would not only round out the numbers, but would also make up for the lack of 'What The Future Holds Pt 2' tracks.

The choice is up to you the Buzzjack voters, I will hold this open until next week after the release of 'Platinum Collection'.

Platinum Collection - we've had the singles rate
I’m thinking Platinum Collection. It’d be nice to include The Runner as well as the few albums tracks we all seem to love.

Looks like its gonna be 'Platinum Collection' so far. It will be interesting to see how tracks like 'Love U More', 'Paradise Lost', 'Happy' & 'Wasted Tears' will hold up against the singles. I will be keeping this open until next week after the album comes out due to the new track 'The Runner' which looking at the writing credits is gonna be a cover of The Three Degrees song & was also covered by Bananarama back in 2009, which I found interesting.
