Madonna's latest release, a Remix Album celebrating 50 #1s on the US Dance Charts is out TOMORROW. But how successful do you think it will be on the UK Charts?

 

Here is some information (thanks @Jay) for her last few releases:

 

#17: 12,405 - Sticky & Sweet Tour [April 2010 - Live]

#01: 56,335 - MDNA [April 2012] *highest*

#55: 1,759 - MDNA World Tour [september 2013 - Live]

#02: 37,245 - Rebel Heart [March 2015]

#42: 1,993 - Rebel Heart Tour [september 2017 - Live]

#02: 27,227 - Madame X [June 2019]

 

Obviously this is a remix album so these figures won't correlate too closely. Where will it debut and what will its opening week's sales look like?

Annoyingly it's looking like a busy week. Like it could've been #1 last week as the #1 then only sold 11,621 and I suspect this could beat that possibly?

 

However with tough competition, I suspect this will miss out on the #1 spot and possibly even the top 5. I have voted top 10 (probably somewhere ~6 or 7?). I suspect sales will be between 10k and 15k which would be very impressive tbh. Wishful thinking perhaps, it may fall short of 10k but hopefully the various versions help it and I am voting higher out of hope :P

Funnily enough I'm getting a #6 or #7 vibe for this album too! Keeping my fingers crossed for Top 5 though, that would be impressive for a remix album. Maybe around 8k?

I’m thinking similar. I wouldn’t have thought that much to begin with but it’s been doing really well on Amazon. The packaging and titling is sort of being marketed as if it were a greatest hits so I wonder if it’s picked up casual sales from that?

I would say top 5 but it’s quite pricy for the deluxe and not sure how this will appeal outside her main fan base. Are the mixes continuous or separate tracks on the CD?

I initially thought it could enter really low and be very niche, but it looks like she's done okay on pre-orders so with the two versions added together and all the vinyl etc, I think she can get at least 5k.

Did they bring release forward?

Sales are pretty low in the current climate so I'd be surprised if this wasn't T5 in the first midweeks. You only need about £5k these days to be T5 in the early midweeks.
