Well... there's still time for at least one of my predictions to be right?! pleasantly surprised by how well the Manics are doing.

The KLF and Tammy Wynette joining forces sounds absurd on paper but genius in practice. The house meets new jack swing style makes for such a euphoric dance record

None of this makes sense any more. Like, Born Slippy is so going to win this now.

Another shocker!! :o

I still have my top 2 left, 1 more top 10, 2 low scorers and 1 I didn’t vote for.

With my incredible detective skills I conclude that the only one Dandy hasn’t voted for is also the only one Rich has voted for. B-)

The only one I haven’t voted for was very close to my Top 30 and is brilliant, so I’ll be pretty happy however it pans out.

oh my what a shock, really thought KLF was gonna win

but I'm glad its out cos it's the only one left i hadn't voted

guess I was too young when this came out cos thr KLF were not really my thing, I like them but not love them

really surprising at Better Off Alone still surviving, probably out next...

It's a long time since 'probably' held any sway in this thread.

I missed voting but I doubt my votes would have made any difference. I would have given Born Slippy and Children loads of points and nothing for the other four. So if one of the two will lose no 1 by one or twenty points, my bad.

1996 has done very well in the rate with this our 6th Favourite No 2 of the 90s but also only our 3rd Favourite of 1996. Daan and Coi make it their 30 pointer!

Well I think it’s safe to say the biggest surprise of the rate is Alice Deejay being top 5!
Children not in the top 5 is a shock :o it was my #1 of 1996 and I practically lived and breathed it at the time, along with EBTG's Missing as a dance record which conveyed the sadness beneath the euphoria, but this time without words. I couldn't have put it much higher but I really should have.

Brilliant track, a shame to see it fall before the top 5 given what else is remaining.

Children should at least be #5 over Alice Deejay
Another day, another wrong prediction  happy to see 'Children' doing well anyway, it really is the perfect end of the night dancefloor soother as intended.
Shocked that Robert Miles isn't in the top 5, a classic that deserves better! Still a good top five though, I gave points to four of them, great to see the Manics still going in particular!
great record, I'd forgotten I'd given it points! That leaves 2 I have pointed, one I didnt have room to point, and 2 that had no chance of points from me :o

Children is one of my all-time favourites, love seeing a piano instrumental do so well. Glad to see that, A Design for Life and Born Slippy all do so well, 1996 wasn't amazing for number 2s, but that's gotta be one of the best trios ever.

I did vote for them all so can't complain, but one of the top 5 is a bit below the rest of them, kinda hoping it doesn't win x

ah that's a shame, I was expecting Children to be in the top 5 and above Better Off Alone, given that it won Ultimate Dance when it last ran (with Born Slippy 2nd and BOA 10th)

I don't really find it particularly surprising that Alice Deejay is top 5, probably more surprised that Manics are there if anything.

Unsure what points I've given to these, I know one is my 30 pointer and another I'll have given big points to, the other three are all good but not sure what and how much I gave.

I'm much more surprised at the Manics. If they'd dropped out as low as 50 I wouldn't have been shocked.

Beating Wonderwall is another surprise.
