October 23, 20222 yr Another good batch there. Pulp with a classic, albeit one I chose not to vote for. U2 with a great soundtrack single, really captured the spirit of the film and was all round epic... and Big Mistake which is okay but far from being a Nat favourite of mine (that titled is reserved for her fab cover of Instant Crush)
October 23, 20222 yr Not me just voting disproportionately for the stuff that is a slightly bigger deal in my neck of the woods (U2 were #1 for 6 weeks!)
October 24, 20222 yr U2 was a great track, I bought that CD, the other 2 were fine maybe a bit flattered overall
October 24, 20222 yr Author NO 76- 53 POINTS Jump Kris Kross (Voter: Jason- 4pts, Mack- 10pts, Narcow- 27pts, Chartjack2- 12pts) (#2 for 1 week in June 1992 behind “Please Don’t Go” by KWS) Back when wearing your clothes back to front was all the rage….for 3 minutes. kasTTPRX-iY
October 24, 20222 yr Author NO 75- 54 POINTS The Launch DJ Jean (Voter: Steve201- 1pt, Gooddelta- 24pts, Coi- 29pts) (#2 for 1 week in September 1999 behind “Mambo No 5” by Lou Bega) Summer tune that was brought home from Ibiza that year Gg4NxtiMf7U
October 24, 20222 yr Author NO 74- 54 POINTS Get Ready For This 2 Unlimited (Voter: Daan- 6pts, Mark223- 10pts, Chez Wombat- 5pts, Narcow- 24pts, Coi- 9 pts) (#2 for 2 weeks in October/November 1991 behind “Everything I Do” by Bryan Adams and “Dizzy” by Vic Reeves/ Winderstuff) It needed the rap removed for the UK release after Pete Waterman thought it wouldn’t work with it in there. jREUWGBXJwQ
October 24, 20222 yr Jump is a banger and was close to my votes. For me Get Ready For This and Twilight Zone are on a similar level and that placing’s about right for the former but the latter didn’t deserve to crash out with 0. Never really got into The Launch.
October 24, 20222 yr I'll always remember that epic Honey G performance of Kriss Kross Jump on X Factor.  I wonder if Kriss and Kross are respectable gentlemen now. :P I forgot to vote for Get Ready For This :o Such an energectic dance classic! I've never been a fan of The Launch though.
October 24, 20222 yr One of them has sadly passed away now hasn’t he? Yes, I didn't know. According to Wikipedia Chris Kelly died of a drug overdose on May 1, 2013. :(
October 24, 20222 yr I'm not big on them either. I did buy The Launch at the time but I don't think it's one of the better dance tracks from the period.
October 24, 20222 yr I still quite like The Launch, but its not really a classic dance song given there were so many around in late 99.
October 24, 20222 yr IT'S WIGGETY WIGGETY WACK *___* Get Ready for This is my favourite from 2 Unlimited, very basic head banging music but impossible not to dance to.
October 24, 20222 yr Aww, although I half expected to be the only voter for The Launch, it doesn't seem to be a well remembered or loved 90s dance song generally.
October 24, 20222 yr Aww, although I half expected to be the only voter for The Launch, it doesn't seem to be a well remembered or loved 90s dance song generally. So did I! Glad it managed a top 75 finish here, it's a great tune.
October 25, 20222 yr Gave The Launch a vote because it reminds me of working in my first job in 1999 they played it on r1 a lot. Strange this was given a play on TOTP when at no8 but guess songs peaked early by this stage!
