Im on the fence at the moment for best as generally i love the loco motion, i currently am gone mad listening to a few live versions of i should be so lucky which im loving, i have a huge soft spot for got to be certain aswell, worst one is very easy for me but i need to mull over my vote for best.

Best: Confide In Me

Worst: 2 Hearts

The 80s tracks do sound dated now, but they really hit the mark at the time (especially if, like me, you were four years old).

The 80s tracks really hit the spot at the time but i have to say all her early stuff still hits the spot for me today aswell,.

Locomotion for best and 2 hearts for worst. I toyed with 2 hearts and confide in me for worst but I have slightly got to like confide in me more and it was a big part of her career that really made people take notice of her, 2 hearts was just such a wrong choice of lead single.

Its such a shame better the devil you didnt didn't make number 1 in aussie or the uk.

ON A NIGHt LIKE THIS 😍

I completely agree. There is such a sense of fun with all of her early work and it captures the sound of the time.

Not intending to be derogatory with my four-year-old comment btw. I was thinking about how Locomotion and Lucky were so instantly accessible. And I'd imagine that universal appeal was absolutely by design.

There was huge fun to her early work and the singles were just so catchy and as radio friendly as you could wish for, as well as genuinely still loving the music it also brings me back to a time when i was kid and certain songs trigger very specific events even silly things as a game of playing football with neighbours etc. The songs also remind me of how excited i would be if kylie was going to be on totp.

A large part of Kylie's early work remains great to this day and I regularly listen to many songs from her first 3 albums.

They are essential Kylie listening.

The early stuff is what made Kylie what she is today and there are a good few fans myself included who have stayed with her since the very start of her music journey and even before it.
