The whole top 11 right now is really quite tragic, there's only 2 songs that I particularly like and even then I don't love them (Eliza Rose and James Hype). The KSI song is decent too, just sounds like an old Rudimental reject lol. Everything else up there I feel at least somewhat negative towards oops. (Bar Guetta/Bebe which I still haven't heard yet but I don't anticipate being a fan of that either). 'Under The Influence' would really be one of the more baffling top 10 hits we've had in a while, it's such an unremarkable dirge, lord knows how it's caught on so much a full 3 years after being dropped as one of the 500 songs on one of Chris Brown's bloatfest albums.

On a more positive note, pleasantly surprised that Oliver Sim's album has risen a bit since Monday, hope it may still have a chance to hang onto the top 40 after all then but I still won't hold my breath. Shame about the big drop for Jockstrap but that's not unexpected, still good for them that it should be comfortably making the top 100.

Good to see that Ozzy almost definitely has the no.2 album this week, though the Manics may end up at 4 depending on how much streaming is missing from Harry....

Unless there's a large last minute dump of extra sales for the Manics they're definitely going to fall behind Harry, if anything it's surprising that they are still ahead today!

Hope Lewis gets this week for one week and Guetta next week so we have a quick no1 turnover for a change.

Yeah, that would be my ideal scenario but I have a feeling that if Lewis gets #1 this week he'll only increase his sales next week and it'll make it harder for 'I'm Good' to get there. So I dunno, maybe I'm rooting for Bebetta to get #1 this week. Exciting battle for #1 in any case :D I'd also quite like 'Ferrari' to go top three in the coming weeks.

I've just begrudgingly given it a listen because as much as I dislike him as a person I wanted to give the song a fair chance... but "unremarkable dirge" is a completely apt description of it.

Looking pretty comfortable ish for Alesso and Zara then if it's up 4 from Monday. There's been lots of songs peaking outside the top 40 this year that I liked so I'm pleased this isn't going to join those now.

well Lewis could definitely pull some tricks if they want, they have the physical release pencilled for the end of the month

but thats the good thing with those physical singles, you can play around and release them earlier at your best convenience whenever you want

you don't even have to release them all, just what you miss to get to #1 :)

so if they're desperate/smart (depends on how you see it), sure Lewis could be #1 this week

Always good to have about 30K CDs cooped up somewhere ready to deploy whenever.

He should deploy them now to secure #1. Even though he is behind Guetta on Spotify, he could still snatch #1. I remember when ATF was on its final week at #1, BOTA was ahead on Spotify the whole time that week so it’s possible that Lewis could get #1 tomorrow

I think he'll still get #1 whenever he chooses to deploy them anyway, I mean look at 'If You Go'.

Interested to see how tomorrow's top 3 turns out anyway, and if he does indeed throw that spanner in the works.

Aren't they not scheduled to come out for a couple of weeks still? It's one thing releasing a couple of days early (never forgive Harry Styles x) but I'm not sure it would be feasible for him to release them as early as this week on a whim.
sure they mean Guetta?

:heehee:

I just want Bebe to get that no1! She has worked so hard to make it!

why would you want this to be her biggest hit?

Fab at Chris Brown at #11!!

Under the Influence is fantastic? It's got a really catchy melody to it so it's no surprise it's taken off. The album 'Indigo' you're referring to is not bloatfest also.

I'm genuinely curious to know which part of the song allegedly has a 'really catchy melody' because I couldn't identify one at all when I listened to the song. I don't know which part of it went viral, it all just sounded like a mush of vaguely moody 'vibes'. I don't think it's the worst thing he's ever released, but it's a deep cut bonus track on a 42 track album and it sounds like it, I don't understand how that has translated into it becoming a huge viral hit.

well there's got to be something in it...

lots of tracks take off on TikTok yet don't have sustainiblity. This has no airplay. No video and yet is doing wonders. Though they do say talent always wins
