September 18, 20223 yr You'll have to ask Radio 1 but I think it's a good idea, it means we can hopefully get a selection of the freshest tracks played each week! This is what the midweek chart show on Radio 1 used to be like. And so they skip new entries to play a song that's going down on its 16th week. :( Not quite like the chart update used to be!
