September 17, 20223 yr Really hoping Rina can scrape a top 10. Expectations are unknown with her not charting before but she seems to be doing okay (#4 on AM and iTunes, good vinyl push). She's mentioned that she just hopes "to chart" which I thought was interesting. Surely charting is a given and she should be pushing for top 10 or even top 5? I guess we'll see on the first update.
September 17, 20223 yr Really hoping Britney and Elton can somehow stay in the Top 10, but i'm not sure it will. Britney is understandably not promoting, hopefully Elton will drop an animated video, other versions of the songs, cds etc at some point.

She's probably purposefully underplaying it but it would actually be good for her to chart anywhere considering she didn't achieve that with her last album until a vinyl release gave it one week in the top 100 months after release.

September 18, 20223 yr Why are they doing this? You'll have to ask Radio 1 but I think it's a good idea, it means we can hopefully get a selection of the freshest tracks played each week! This is what the midweek chart show on Radio 1 used to be like. Intrigued to see if the OCC publish a full top 40 at the end of the show.
