I think the video will be big, and also will push the song even more, I think second week is more possible than first but fine, a day and a half left for a few hundreds of copies and they are ahead of streaming it seems in the past 2 days so... it will be close :)

Only 400 sales for Mark Owen since the last update but I kinda expected the drop off, probably won't stay top 5 now but will stay top 10.

 

Expected but disappointing especially with the HMV signings but seeing as you had to pre-order the album to get access to the signing those sales could have been accounted for in the first update?

Oh great to see the gap between the top 2 is actually shrinking then! If it keeps closing at the same rate Sam should end up at #1 then but not by a super comfortable margin so could still go either way.

 

Resigned to DBE almost certainly getting the #1 album then. Can't really say they don't deserve one after so many years of consistent popularity tbf.

 

Editors down to #8 :( hope they at least stay top 10.

I don't really care much for this album, its certainly not as good as Home Alone 2 or PTSD but its ok. I think it often happens for many "smaller" artists that their best songs or projects don't hit number 1 but their less good work does, so I doubt they'll care.

Kinda surprised that the Ed Sheeran collab isn't one of those top 3 songs?

It's right near the end of the album and hasn't been pushed to playlists as far as I'm aware (the 3 charting songs are tracks 2-4, with '4 The Win' being the one with the music video and playlist push). Also not convinced there's that much of a natural audience crossover between DBE and Ed.

Fair enough, just thought it would be getting more curiosity streams than any other track just due to Ed's name power.
