Taylor took ages to reach #1 because the versions from the regular edition and the 3am edition were charting separately for the best part of 2 days so it's not really comparable - #3 on Apple after only 11 hours is definitely really good going though, but not sure how well she'll hold up beyond the first day hype judging by the general reception to it so far. -is #1 for 9 weeks-

We're not ready for her numbers tomorrow, although... I don't think the song will be a hit. So we'll see how it will hold.

I'm anticipating a similar start to Hold Me Closer but I could be wrong. I actually wouldn't be surprised if it was a one week #1 and had a steady fall but Taylor/Sam are both doing so well it'll be difficult.

I actually think even though it'll fall rather fast that once the movie is out in a couple of weeks and people are sitting through the credits, it'll get huge boosts, especially as it's going to be a hugely emotional film.

Wow that definitely suggest she’s coming for a strong debut. Will be interesting to see how it holds up over the next few days as you obviously have to factor in some curiosity streams at new material from her.

 

I’m really hoping the song grows on me.

That might just be it coming on automatically as it's track 2 on the single release lol ~ (on Spotify anyway, I assume it's the same on Apple)

 

Top version is still at #3, I kind of thought it might be #1 by now judging by how quickly it got to #3 but it might just suddenly jump to #1 around midnight (or perhaps 5am) as new releases often do.

 

Fred again..'s 'Clara (the night is dark)' has poked into the top 100 on Apple at #99 now and SZA is at #41.
