Not been on the forum much the past couple of days so I'm just catching up... honestly amazed at the streaming performance of 'Padam Padam' so far! Definitely looks like this could hold onto the Top 40 and even become a hit beyond that. I never thought we'd see the day again!

She was #104 with this at the start of the week, 'Dancing' also managed #77. But I believe it's the highest she's been outside of the first day (and Christmas)

It is also 138 on Spotify Ireland, new peak I think !

This is crazy!! Wasn't expecting to open the Spotify chart and see Kylie as the biggest gainer today! Obviously its buoyed by sales this week, but if this can stabilise on Spotify, even if its not top 100, then this would probably be her first song to have a proper OCC chart run since Dancing / Into the Blue ... truly unexpected but so deserved! :cheer:

 

Edit: Just checked and if this can make the weekly UK Spotify chart come Friday (at this rate, it absolutely can and will), then this will be her first ever non-Christmas song to do that. Even Dancing just had one day at #77 and didn't make the week chart!

So although this is not the highest for this song, the fact it entred where it did and then fwll out but is now climbing back up is a great sign.

 

Oh I didnt realise Dancing was so high, saying that I feel Padam Padam is more consistant.

This is so unprecedented and seriously exciting! :cheer: I am keeping everything crossed now that it can actually stay inside the Top 30 for Friday's chart.

I hope this is "natural" at this point rather than having anything to do with autoplay - but having said that, I wouldn't be at all mad if she had that deal next week if it gave her a boost into the Top 50 and increased its visibility!

 

 

Now I wish that they'd rush release CD singles and maybe even a cassette single for Padam Padam, to give it a boost at some point within the next 2 months. If they haven't already organised vinyl then I think that's not feasible in the short term unfortunately, but I'd love a red Padam Padam vinyl. Give us one in Tension's release week, BMG!

I definitively think it's at least partly organic - it's still gaining on Apple Music (#46) and goes between the #1 and #2 position on iTunes tells me that this is genuinely appealing to people other than Kylie's regular fanbase. I think we actually might have a hit coming here.

I agree 100%, the fact it has held its own on itunes and has two high up versions does show the song is appealing to people outside of her usual fanbase, so to me that indicates it is more organic. If it wasnt we might see it do its usual drop on i tunes while climbing on sgreaming.
