This is very promising? I think with some stability on Spotify and maybe a late-week remix/instrumental to push downloads we can see top 15 this week? I think overtaking Dua and some if not all of the Taylor songs is very possible, Karma dropped 45 spots to #52 on Spotify today - so there's no way that will hold so high. Either way top 20 is a great result, and with the CDs next week, top 10 isn't that unreasonable. I'm trying not to get ahead of myself but for this to be her highest entry since All the Lovers is just insane.

I do wonder how Kylie is taking this, it must definitely be unexpected for BMG. Particularly after all the talk of them reframing Kylie's vision of success in the Golden and Disco eras, to have an actual bonafide hit single must seem unreal.

Edit: Also I did think first look would be off because of the bank holiday? Will the proper midweek update still come tomorrow too, or is that a Tuesday job?

Love that a 2024 Kylie release has achieved that - in the streaming era I never thought we’d see that in the UK or US.

It was definitely something I'll never forget/never quite believe was actually real!

Tbh i would either release a big remix on week 4 with the physical release or on week 9 to help avoid ACR, as Kylie is one of the acts that benefits a lot from the charts visibility.

Will be interesting to see when they ship the CDs - there are 2 dates on her website, this Friday and next Friday.

Yep the strategy of releasing something on Thursday which grabs last minute downloads and carries forward to the next week....

Maybe the EP will come this week on Itunes

UK World Itunes Chart

14 (+4) Padam Padam

Am wondering, early days if this track could become one of the most downloaded songs of the year in 2023?

Also do you think there could be any chance Kylie could make an appearance at the Soap Awards next week? If she isn't doing BGT......

Would love a sleek TV performance with lots of dancers

Who knows! I guess it’s still #1, ahead of new songs from Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Lewis Capaldi…. who’d have thought it 10 days after release?

Exactly........ the 59p crucial I think too.

Wonder if we could get something Pride related also? Padam Padam Pride Mix

She is so down to earth you could even see her appearing on Loose Women haha.

Surely she is heading to UK after Monaco. Her US concert thing is not until 17th June

Just seen the Lineup for BGT Semis and Final

James Arthur, Axel Blake, Brenda Edwards, Diversity + lots of shows like Les Miseables, Wizard Of Oz, We will rock you

How can I find Amazon Music data?

Isn't Amazon Music the 2nd biggest streaming service in UK behind Spotify?
