Love that a 2024 Kylie release has achieved that - in the streaming era I never thought we’d see that in the UK or US.

It was definitely something I'll never forget/never quite believe was actually real!

Nice to see such a big increase, hope it’s not just a one off

Nice if she got it again this week but if not its still done brilliant on that chart.

Happy Hits is a “people see different orders” playlist, Padam Padam is #3 on there for me.

I feel that the number one spot is largely determined by downloads over the past seven days, rather than streams. Streams mostly impact further down the chart - and songs often don’t enter high within a few days of their release - so do better the following weekend.

Either way, I think there is very little chance of Olivia being number 1 - she is far from being number one on iTunes or Apple Music. I could be wrong - she is currently being downloaded more than all of the songs above her on Apple Music.

Possibilities: Hannah Laing, Nathan Dawe, Stephen Sanchez, Kylie, Calvin Harris (and highly unlikely, but let’s add Lewis Capaldi, Wish You The Best).

Olivia Rodrigo doesn't look to enter top 3 with how things currently stand.

I’m sure the CD and vinyl singles will make up any streaming deficit for Olivia.

To pippa: Why? With the physicals it’s definitely looking for a number 2 debut, maybe even at 1 in the first look with the physicals.

So far I don’t understand where DBE will debut. On Spotify they’re strong going 4-7. On Apple they’re top-20. If they continue to slide, they probably won’t trouble the top-10, but there’s a good chance they’ll be there too.

But we also have Cruel Summer by Taylor Swift at 5 on Spotify and 7 on Apple.

Kylie is 11 on Apple and 23 on Spotify atm, but good on Amazon at 7. And of course downloads are good as always.

^^ I say it every week but I literally have no idea where Kylie will end up this week - I feel likes she could be #7 or #14

Hopefully the remix has done enough for another week Top 10 but as you say there is a lot of strong competition around too.

She is seriously leaving us on the razor edge every week! 😂

I can’t cope :drama:

I forgot how easy it was for the last 10 years to only having to worry about week 1 only and then getting excited when it appeared at #86 on the iTunes chart 4 weeks after release

Fantastic start to the week.

5,14,52,102 on UK itunes looks ok, but we really need to keep that Jax Jones selling, hopefully they drop the price to 59p

Keep streaming the original, extended, Jax remixes 10 times a day everyone. It really could make the difference. Remember Peggy was only 3 sales (3 downloads or 450 streams) ahead of Kylie last week, so we know it can be tight

Can it stay at 7 please! The good thing is this update doesn’t take a yesterday’s rise on Spotify into account. But I fear it will fall back once the Prode effect wears off.
