PPE (Padam Padam Extended)

 

We all need PPE for the Padamic 🤗

I think it's great that they are acknowledging it, we all know how hard it is for our maturer artists to crack the top 40 these days and it's a great turn around for Kylie. I think it's also nice to acknowledge an artist for been able to get a hit for a 5th decade. We are well used of negative press about artists flopping or getting dropped so something positive is good to see.

 

 

It's Kylie and a nations sweetheart. It's great free promo and they may sense it will bigger so getting in their first.

 

It will all be Madge and Sam next week

Just been discussing this with one of my friends at work, and one of the department managers who has been aware of the memes asked me "this Padam thing. Is that an actual song?" :lol:

 

 

Yes we need to make sure everyone is listening, downloading and streaming, not just watching Memes lol

 

Should be a strong start to the next chart week again. Still being downloaded, streaming should be good.

 

Lets see if something a little extra comes tomorrow, doesn't seem like anything new for today

Well it all depends on what is happening with the CD single, the shipping date says the 2nd June but the release is the 9th?

 

I've used my work email to make a second account on the official store and downloaded the extended mix a couple more times (separate transactions).

Just to make things clear, say if somebody bought 3 copies on her store would they need to be separate transactions to count as 3 sales?

I think we will see another physical in a few weeks time too more widely publicised with remixes maybe a cassette/vinyl 7"and CD 2 bundle for £10? + p&p

I hope so. Vibrant red 7" and cassette seems obvious and a second CD especially with remixes later?

 

It does seem odd we haven't had a collection of Padam Padam tees and accessories. Especially with Pride being here... we need tees with "PADAM?" on the front!

I believe 3 is the maximum that can count per transaction - anymore than that are not counted.

It’s so tantalisingly close to breaking that Top 50!

It's actually very clever marketing because it's lots of free Padam Padam publicity as we all share our CDs on social media

 

It should also allow the song to hopefully be top 20 again on Sunday and get another radio 1 play. That depends how many they have sold. Hopefully 1.5k

Imagine on release day a fortnight ago someone saying,

 

"Give it a couple of weeks and it will be reaching a new peak on Spotify in the Top 60, will be almost cracking the Top 10 on Apple and will be about to spend its second week Top 30 on the official charts."

 

Strange... but true!!
