I've ended up taking away quite a lot of these songs in the end, a lot of them are growers.

I've got Loreen, Kiana, Mariette and Theoz on repeat, Loulou LaMotte, Wiktoria and Nordman on my 'play quite a lot' rotation and Tennessee Tears, Signe and Hjördis, Smash Into Pieces and Melanie Wehbe on occasional spins.

A lot of the others are decent too. I think my main issue with this year was that a lot of my highlights either completely flopped or unjustly required the semi-final to reach the final, many of the direct finalists from the first three weeks are very 'heard it all before but better', leaving me very underwhelmed until the brilliant final heat.

I’m finally getting around to listening to the Melodfestivalen acts from this year. Are Marcus & Martinus really the biggest threats to Loreen? Yikes if so coz that song is a good (not great) generic bop.

I would much rather Smash Into Pieces were the bigger threat! What a diet-Linkin Park bop that is *.*

Rumour has it that Loreen has changed the lyrics of her sonf to this :o

Wanted to trash your Benz

Tell all your friends how cruel you were to me (to me, to me)

Instead I wrote a song bout how you did me wrong

I could’ve cried at home and spent the night alone

Instead I wrote a song

I feel much better now

Me and my girls are out and we all sing along

Instead I wrote a song

(Da da da da da di, da da da da da di, da da da da da di)

Instead I wrote a song

(da da da da da di, da da da da da di)

She says it makes it better

I think this is quite a strong final - Loreen is CLEARLY the best song but the highlight of these finalists… Kiana’s fandom high kick *.*

What a queen in the making.

If Loreen doesn't win this tomorrow, I don't know what I'll do. I might start a war against the swedes, and if M&M are the one's who will be in the way of her, I will do everything in my power to never let them set a foot on their home land again. 'Tattoo' is the best song to ever come out of Melodifestivalen and soon also Eurovision.

I am obviously team Smash Into Pieces but I would also prefer Marcus & Martinus or Mariette to win here

Loreen is inevitable though so you don't have to worry

The thing I love about this contest is there’ll always be a few songs I’d put in my top 10!
In my gut, I feel it’s going to be another cause like Dotter losing by 1 point. I need Loreen to win. If by some miracle she doesn’t, I’m team Kiana.

I’m gonna predict (probably way off):

Very close to my list as well, I’ve just swapped M&M with Theoz.

not heard everything here but here's hoping Smash Into Pieces can get into 2nd, I'd be rooting for them all the way if it weren't for Loreen also being here.

although the Marcus & Martinus song is better than I was expecting so hey ho.

Oh wait, we're still doing jojks.
Outsiders don't actually understand the tension between sami's, Swedish and Österbottningar lmao. Good luck to you all for trying to figure it all out!
Oh they put the boys early so the kids can vote and goto bed.
I completely forgot about Maria Sur. That hype definitely died down.
I hope Six Feet Under comes second.
